It was one morning when I woke up from my office desk when my phone buzzed unstoppable it was my family contacting me.

Mom:

*Dear, were being attacked by the gargoyles they must've took advantage of the rainy seasons to attack, I dont know how long I may live, but always remember that me and your father will always love you no matter what happens" I slowly shed in tears. I quickly got up and opened the door from my office five people were there, i quickly approached the girl who was crying.

"Dr. Leah, tell me what happened?!"

I shaked her as I felt even more upset about how she just stares at me crying her eyes out.

"WHAT HAPPENED, CAN ANYBODY TELL ME?!?!" I screamed facing the four other people staring at us until Dr. Richard pulled me away trying to calm me down.

"Pull yourself together Dr. Hailey, Dr. Leah just lost her family and most of us too. But you gotta pull yourself together!" he said while holding my shoulder, I looked at his eyes who seemed like he just cried for hours...

"I want you to listen to me Dr. Hailey Faye.... The test subject from the west escaped... Along with the other captured monster, they were freed by the Dark Witch... No one noticed at first until the Jersey Devil arrived here in the city and attacked all the neighboring areas... And no one survived... The jersey devil left for now and along with the other monsters but, they will come back. " he explained to me in a shaky voice holding my shoulder.

I broke down in tears as I realized that my family were gone... I was alone now.... Dr. Richard hugged me comforting me. 10 Minutes later we all calmed down and only my neighbor and Leah's neighborhood is the only affected areas.... Suddenly someone barged into the office and we looked at them, they were flashing lights at us even though it was still daytime.

"Who goes there! " says the man with a mask and shield.

"The Monslab team S2!" yelled Dr.Richard, suddebly they all put the lights and shields down and ran up to us. "YOU GUYS ARE ALIVE!!!"... I looked at the peopls as they removed their mask.

"Please join us, were gonna investigate on the monsters that are lurking! We're from the East! We heard from the radiobroadcast somewhere here in the South was infested with monsters and we're on a mission finding the remaining Monslab here.." the girl said from behind the other guys.

They took out their ID and showed us.

I sighed in relief as I reaalized they were telling the truth and we all introduce ourselves from each other and walked up to the Meeting room.

As they all sat I walked up infront of them and looked at them before speaking.

"As you all know that we, the South is being infested with monsters at the moment, may I ask if the East are experiencing infestation aswell?"

The Monslab Team E1 shaked their head no.

"I see, so only the West and South could be experiencing infestation, have we heard from the North?"

"No not really the North is always quiet about any happenings inside their territory they could be infested at the moment but no one can really tell if it's the truth or not." says the Monslab team E1 representative, Sharmaine.

"I see, well Dr. Leah I hope I can count on you to keep on posted with the North, Im sure they will somehow say or share what they are experiencing at the moment, besides that as the South Team 1 has discovered that they are mostly infesting or attacking the areas in here " I pointed at the map and pinned it, and here...." I pointed both the neighborhood me and Leah lived in. "Anywhere else Dr. Richard?" Dr. Richard shaked his head.

"As I looked at it both the areas are quite far from each other since the next one to this Woodland street is a crowded capital of the South and while the Mirk Avenue is a not so crowded yet, open space neighborhood. I think they might be targeting the smaller areas before going for the bigger areas, and it could be, It could be a way for them to repopulate their own kind, abd it seems like they're getting smarter than 30 years ago... "

Everyone's gaze became dark as they heard me say 30 years ago.

*Flashback to 30 years ago*

"We are currently experiencing an infestation in Rowansville Centre mall and it---wait! There's a report on Goblin being spotted by the South East side!!! It seems like the world is in pure chaos as of the mom--- AHHHHH!!!!!!!!" The news reporter screamed along with the other people inside the set as they Gargoyle's, Goblin and other monsters attacked them, being recorded live it showed how the monsters are eating the New Reporter lady and dead bodies being swung everywhere inside the Cameras view.

Everyone who watched in horror as they thought that it might be the end of the world,  the South and East area was being attacked, the infestation was stopped by the North and West and other remaining East and South people who survived the disaster no one knew how they did it, the attacks lasted for months it was called The Dark age of N. E. W. S.... And everyone thought that the heroes who saved the  country washed out and caged down the monsters but apparently the Dark Witch survived and waited for the right time and it was now...

The heroes who helped out clearing the monsters dissapeared into thin air  right after helping the whole country.

*End of Flashback*

"Enough about that Im sure we will find a way to clear them out sooner, For now, we will discuss and sum up a list of monsters being spotted does anyone have any pictures of any recent attacks or anything we can identify?" I said while sitting down in the front.

" For now, there's no photo evidence. But seeing as... Umm we have colleagues who have their neighborhood umm... Attacked" Dr. Richard while glancing at Leah and me.... "Go ahead" says leah and I nodded aswell to Richard.

"No need to feel uncomfortable, we never expected it anyway the next we have to do is accept it." I looked at Leah and smiled.

"Okay umm, there was a Jersey Devil spotted in Woodland street while Goblin in the Mirk.. And uhhh hmm seems like an unidentified monster if you ask me... A child posted just 2 minutes earlier and described a winged-bat small creature with big human eyes and uhh small hands and long black nails." he says reading his laptop.

" A new creature? I dont think that exists I mean it could just be a blind kid or something" says Sharmaine.

Richard looks at her "Im not sure about that Miss Sharmaine another netizen posted a picture of it should I project it?" He says as he asked for my permission, I nodded and he connects his laptop in the projector and zoomed at the picture where the creature is spotted.

"Woah..." exclaimed the other people, I looked at the picture examined it.

"But the left eye socket is empty..." I said as I walked up to the projector.

It could be a new species.... A new discovery!
