Ashley's P.O.V
**two days after we got to the new house**
Ever since we got here Sam has gone mute. She's been wearing long sleeves a lot and won't tell me why, she'll text me and tell me something but other then that she doesn't talk. I decided to go on a walk I got dressed and asked Sam if she wanted to go and she shook her head and went downstairs to get something to drink. I walked outside and saw this cute boy walking his dog. I waved and he waved back, I walked over and asked if I could pet his dog. He said yes, I pet his dog as he asked me my name I said "My names Ashley, what's yours?" "That's a beautiful name for a beautiful girl my names Cameron." his response made me turn a little red. We talked for a while and I told him about the foster home. That's when he said "Hey my family is looking to adopt a sister is there any more there?" I nodded and thought of Emily I smiled and said "There's this really sweet girl named Emily and she's really nice please try and get your parents to adopt her it'd mean a lot to my sister and I." He said he'd try before he walked away. I ran back inside happily as our parents called us down for dinner. Sam came down as I walked into the kitchen, I felt my phone buzz and opened the text it was from Sam
*texts convo*
Sam: erm can you ask mum if I can go out tonight please?
Me: sure.
*end of text*
"Hey mum." I spoke up "Yes love?" She asked
"Um Sam wants to know if she can go out tonight." I said as she turned her head to Sam. "Is this true baby?" Sam shook her head yes. "Yes you may go, but be back by twelve." she said while drinking some tea. After dinner I went to bed as Sam got ready for tonight.
