The Alleyway Where We Met

I frowned once I heard what Mr. Valencia said. What does he mean by that? Or is he just acting strange as always?

"What..?" I uttered with confusion, sharing the same expression with Crystal.

The man in front of us shook his head and shrugged his shoulders. "Nothing, nothing.." He said before giving me the certificate of Marriage. I just nodded in response and thanked him, unconsciously taking Crystal's hand into mine.

"Who is he?" She asked, making me look at her. 

Mr. Valencia used to be my father's right hand man, unfortunately, he left when my father died. Still, he helps me whenever I ask him for help, and I owe a lot to him.

"Someone I trust with my life? Is that enough to describe him?" I said with a chuckle as we made our way to my car

"Wala akong sinabing idescribe mo s'ya noh, tinanong ko lang kung sino s'ya." She rolled her eyes at me, and I can't help but laugh at her attitude.

Why would Mr. Valencia think that she's not Crystal? Her name is Crysyal-well that's a given, but her actions and attitude too.. I'm sure that she's the Crystal I met years ago..

Baliw na talaga 'to, laging tumatawa eh. I looked down on our intertwined fingers. I don't really know this man yet but I feel safe around him.

"Nga pala, wala pa'kong kaalam alam sa'yo," I said once I got in the passenger sit. He started the engine after he got in.

"Of course you don't know nothing about me yet, we just met earlier this morning."

"Cue mo na ata 'yon para magpakilala 'no?" I looked at him who's focused on driving.

"Ayoko, bukas na."

"Tamad!" I huffed and crossed my arms. Well actually, buti nalang na bukas sya magsasabi. I'm too tired to listen. Baka makatulog pa'ko.

"My house is still a bit far. You can rest and take a nap first, you must be tired."

I only nodded as a response before leaning my head against the window and closing my eyes. Hapon na pala, and I didn't even realize it. My breathing started to slow down as I fell asleep.

"We're here." I heard a familiar voice said. I rubbed my eyes before opening them. They grew big once I saw the huge mansion before me. This freaking mansion is bigger than the Solaces'!

Then, I felt a warm hand covering my eyes and closing them. "Close your eyes, they'll hurt if you keep them open for a long time." He took his hand away and started walking. I followed shortly after.

"Uh yeah, okay."

We we're greeted by suprisingly a lot of maids. "Welcome back, sir. We've already prepared a warm bath for Ms. Crystal," Greeted by the head housekeeper. By the looks of it, she's already near in her 60's yet she have that sophisticated aura.

"Boss!" I turned to look at the direction where I heard the unfamilliar voice. It was a tall man with a burnt orange hair, wearing a suit just like the guards outside are wearing. "The annilihation is complete, boss!" He looks happy while telling the news to Fredrick, yet he was cut off by a smack on the head.

"Ano, boss?? Patay na yung mga gagong-"

Glare. That was Fredrick's response.

The guy turned his gaze at me and his eyes widened in realization. He laughed nervously and slightly scratched his nape. "A-ah! Hi, Miss, ikaw ba yung bagong asawa ni bossing?" He smiled. He seems kind.

"Bago? Ah, oo.." I smiled and offered my hand to him. He shook it and leaned closer before whispering something

"Pangatlo ka na, miss." I heard him giggle before leaning away. And for some reason, I felt my stomach dropping. Nakakawala naman sa mood. Napabusangot tuloy ako 

"Ano nanamang sinabi mo, Xendrick??" Fredrick gave off an annoyed tone.

Xendrick? Fredrick? Ano 'to, ick duo? 

Pero, it's kinda not a surprise for me na pangatlong asawa na'ko. I mean, kakakilala pa nga lang namin nitong lalaki na 'to, pero kasal agad kami. I just sighed in frustration.

"Sinabi ko lang na pangatlo na s'ya," Xendrick said with a cheeky smile. How cute.

"Are you fucking with me right now??" 

"Hala, bossing ang bastos mo today. Ba't naman kita ifufuck-"

Pak!! Na kotongan nanaman.

"Alam mo? Just take her to the bathroom." Fredrick sighed in defeat. While Xendrick was about to hold my hand to-I guess drag me to the bathroom where the maids prepared a warm bath- Fredrick slapped his hand away.

"Ako nalang pala," He said that with a serious tone, his cheeks has a pink tone on it. 

"Selos ka naman agad, boss." Xendrick gave a side comment while caressing his hand where Fredrick slapped him.

"Don't get me started, Xend."

"Okay ka lang?" I asked and took a step closer to him, taking his hand to caress it. "Bakit mo naman sinaktan si Xendrick?" I asked with a frown, habang si Xendrick ay napangisi lamang habang nakatingin sa boss nya.

"Because he's being an idiot?" He said as if it was an obvious thing.

"Napaka seloso mo naman."

Another unfamiliar voice. Gusto ko na matulog please! No more new people! I cried deep inside.
