Sumaya pov-

After the bell rung she watched as Lyn walked away all she could think about for first period was Lyn
"I'm gonna make her mine" maya thought
After first period was over which felt like forever she spotted Lyn with two other one look exactly like Lyn if she was girly maybe she had a twin or a sister. The other girl I knew her she plays basketball with me Gia, maybe that's my way in. As I approached my locker my best friend lair approached me
"Why were you staring so hard at them three?" She said as she raised an eyebrow

"Nothing just curious about the girl on the right"
"Oh Lyn? What you so curious about" she said with a smirk on her face
Juniors have a free second period so we went to go sit outside a cross from them when we got over then Gia had gotten up cause 2 period had just started.
"Tell me more about Lyn" I said not taking my eyes off her
"She doesn't have many friends that other one right there is her twin sister and a lot of people say she weird cause of past trauma" she said it like she knew them very well

"How do you know so much?"
"Well her sister has a lot of friends actually look she's going to sit with them now"
as a matter of fact she did actually go sit with them. That was my cue to go up to Lyn.
"I'll be right back liar"
"Yea I know" she said looking at me walk away

Roselyn pov-
The girl I was chatting with earlier came and sat right across from me just as they did Gia had to leave.
"Ard ima holla at y'all later" as she got up
"Okay see you Gia" I said
Now it's just me and my sister but soon it would just be me because once her friend came she would go with them it was natural to me now because she would always come back. That whole time we were sitting there i felt eyes on me the whole time and I knew exactly who it was but i didn't look up after a couple of minutes Joselyn's friends walked in.
"Hey I'll be back is that okay?"
"Yea of course I'm fine" i lied
She got up and walked away I really like have people around that I feel safe with because when I was growing up I felt alone even when people were around. After my sister got up I felt somebody sit in on the chair next to me I slowly turned my music down and looked up and it was no other than the light skin.
"Oh hi" I said with I slight smile on my face

"Wsp with you why you by yourself?" She asked
"Oh um the two people I was with are occupied"
"Well I'm never occupied love"
My stomach started to feel weird like I was nervous and not a bad nervous but why is she making me nervous.
"I- a- okay" I felt so embarrassed
She just laughed
"Well Lyn I'm Sumaya but everyone calls me maya most times" she said with a grin on her face
"How do you know my name"
"That's not your name just a nickname right ? So what is your name"
"Why does it matter?" I said quietly
"Cause I'm trynna get to know you better"
I sighed and gave in
"Roselyn"
"That's pretty why ever try to hide that"

I started to blush and I looked away trying to stop smiling instant waterfalls. I felt a hand on my chin maya turned me towards her.
"Thank you" I said softly
"No problem love"
Waterfalls again. Got damn

Joselyn's pov-
As I'm sitting with my friends I look over and see Lyn sitting with a some girl it look like they were getting to know each or something like that until I was interrupted by my friend.
"Please Joselyn give me her number" my friend said
"No thirsty ass" while playfully mugging her

"Ughh I'm going to kill myself" her friend said
I still was looking over at them it was nice that my sister was making friends because even though we both went though trauma Roselyn was effected by it more she always had it worse and I never understood why.

Roselyn pov-
"So you gonna let me take you out?" Maya asked after some silence
"I don't like public environments" I said with a sorry face
"That's coo ,, how about your place?"
I had to think about it for a little bit because I don't have people over I don't even have friends the only person who is ever over there is gia
"Sure" I said with a smile on my face
"Second period Rey end give me your phone" she put her had out
"For?"

"So we can connect each other duh"
"Fine" I said handing her my phone
She saved her contact as Sumaya🫧💞! I didn't say anything about it though it was nice to have another friend or something like that.
"Use it don't have it for nothing" she said as she got up for her next period.
I nodded and got my stuff together for second period.

At the end of the day I meet with Gia and Joselyn and we got in the car
"Hey kiddos" my aunt said
"Hey" I said not looking up from my phone
"Wsp auntie" Gia said
Joselyn didn't say anything so I assumed she had her headphones in I got the nerve to text Maya

"Who you texting Lyn" Gia said looking in my phone
"Nobody" I said quickly putting my phone down
"That light skin girl" Joselyn said
"Who!" Gia said excitedly

"I'm not sure she had honey brown hair though" my sister said
"Lyn! Are you talking to Sumaya"
"Maybe.."I said looking out the window
"You are!" Gia said jump up
"Leave her alone that's good kiddo" my aunt said stopping in front of Gia house
"We will talk later" Gia said hopping out the car
When we pulled off i asked if Maya could come over
"Ofc honey" my aunt said
We finally got home I looked at the time as I got to my room it was already 4
