So this is just an overview of what stuff I haven't stated either in the prologue or outright confessed in the narrative.

So, to start, I did this story once before, but because of how violent and dark it was, I have had to change almost all of it up a bit. I'm positive another popular site would let me do my darker plot, in which case, if this story becomes popular enough, I will write the original version again.

Regardless, here's what you should know.

The protagonist is Jack Queen, twin of Thea Queen and son of Moira Queen and Malcolm Merlyn. He was kidnapped at birth by someone who you should all know, but I'll keep that to myself for a while, at least. Anyway, Moira, who was the only one aware of the child as Oliver and Robert Queen hadn't made it to the hospital yet kept the missing child a secret out of shame similar to how she never revealed her scandal with Malcolm.

Regardless, this ends up in Jack's first origin story, going from ages 1-12. We know that at 12, he washed up on Lian Yu mysteriously before Oliver and was present for the flashback events of seasons 1 and 2. Due to his mysterious back story and obvious history of a violent upbringing, the kid is very antisocial, has selective mutism as well as a plethora of other issues.

Regardless, the kid would end up being taken under the wing of Shado, causing him to see her as a mother figure, and that was a role she gladly accepted. Soon enough, Oliver was taking on a fatherly role, and Slade was like a fun uncle. We all know how this families story ends.

Jack (going by Shadow at the time as he had no recollection of his past nor did Moira ever name him) was found alongside Oliver in the wreckage of the Amazo by Amanda Waller. He would then go onto Hong Kong with Oliver and stay with the Yamashiro family for months. Without Shado, with Oliver being gone often and all the trauma on him, Jack further withdrew from people. Waller saw him as a liability and arranged for Oliver to send him away to a foster family and the two parted ways for the next 7 years.

Jack would never make it to his foster family, calling out Waller for just wanting a more violent Oliver and citing him as holding Ollie back. Waller didn't lie and agreed, offering Jack a normal life... or life in ARGUS.

This story has flashbacks, similar to Arrow, starting with Jack as an ARGUS agent in 2013 just after his 18th birthday (canonical January 21st 1995).

Yes, there is more lore, obviously not in these flashbacks. I will show these moments, such as what happened in the first 12 years of Jack's life. How he picked his name. Why does he have basic training. All of these other characters are and his relationships with them. Furthermore, the philosophy of Jack's motivations and reasons will be further discussed to explain how he differs and why from the present to the past.

The reason this OC story is so different from other people's is because of the individual stories these characters have.

I have taken and drawn inspiration from various other media. If you can figure out what media's and plots I've taken characters and devices from (some are admittedly very obvious), then feel free to comment.

Yes, this does mean the plot gets a bit crazy and yes, the flashbacks nay have the most insane storyline I've ever written. They are coded to fit the characters and connotate certain things, and conform to specific characters.

Hopefully, you'll all enjoy.
