Destiny.

It's been a week at the college and it's been truly amazing. Alexa and I are good friends and the professors are great. I am still thinking about the August guy, but not that much to distract me.

I struggled to carry my semester's books to my dorm. I bumped into something causing my books and myself to fall.

"Ow." I whined, rubbing my bum.

"Sorry, I didn't see you there." A dark voice spoke.

I looked up to see August, the boy Alexa warned me about.

"It's okay." I replied, starting to gather up my books. He started to help me.

"Thanks." I bluntly said. He followed to my dorm and sat my books on my desk. I followed him out the door and started to close it but his foot had to stop me.

"No goodbyes hug?" He asked. I scoffed.

"I barely know you; also don't think you can into my pants. Alexa warned me about you." I exclaimed.

"Alexa warned you about me huh? Hmmm, too bad. I'll see you around, baby girl." He said.

And with that, he left.

"So, how was first week?" my mom asked the phone.

"It's okay, I miss you guys though." I frowned.

"Its okay baby, we miss you too."

I smiled.

We talked for about 5 more minutes before she had to go.

I bit into my sandwich and continued to work on last class notes. I sighed and put my materials into my bag.

"Hello again, baby girl." August greeted, taking a seat.

"What now?" I mumbled.

"Aw, not happy to see me?" he pouted.

I shook my head.

He pouted and began to eat the chips off my plate.

"Hey! those were mine!" I whined.

He smiled. "Too bad."

No doubt August was good looking, but if he broke those girls in the past's hearts, then he can break mine.

"Do you have plans tonight?" He asked me.

"No, Why?" I questioned.

"I wanna take you on a walk by the peer." He replied.

"Okay. No jokes" I sternly said.

"No jokes." He repeated after me.

"I'll pick you up at six. Be ready by then." He explained.

I nodded.
