Jess and Melanie have feelings for each other but Melanie has a boyfriend names Jackson who pays no mind to her . Jackson doesn't like jess and causes problems between her and her bsf Dylan .
This is my first book it might be really bad but please...
I pour two cups of tequila for me and Melanie "are you gonna stay with him?" I say while closing the bottle.
"Jess-" I cut her off "after what he did Melanie , you can't be with a guy like him" I say while my eyes drift to her lips
"Who am I supposed to be with Jess?" She takes a sip from her cup. "Me" she looks at me "you know I like you , it's obvious why be with him when I'm right in front of you" I say while fidgeting with my ring.
"Jess I like you too , you know that but I can't leave him . You don't understand" she says while finishing her drink . "Why can't you leave him?" I finish my drink and pour a second glass.
"He hits me." She says looking away from me . I grab her face and moved it gently towards me "I won't let him hurt you" i can't believe he hits such a beautiful girl .
He must be crazy , who would hit her?? I would never hit her she's beautiful and perfect and her eye- "Jess? Did you hear me??" I snap out of my thoughts "What no , what'd you say?"
"I said I love you" her face turns red and so does mine . "Do you mean it?" I finish my second drink about to pour a third one "don't pour a third glass Jess , and yes I do mean it." She grabs my hand and looks me in the eyes.
"I love you too Melanie" he face turns red and she grabs my face "Can I-" I didn't even think twice about that .
I leaned in and gently pressed my lips on hers , she smiles into the kiss as she pulls my waist in and I cup her face with my hand using my right hand to touch her waist.
She pulls away and smiles "I've been waiting to do that for 6 months" I say while smiling . "Me too Jess" she lays on my chest and soon we both drift asleep .
I wake up and feel her arms wrapped around my waist as she's asleep , I check the time it's 4:20 and Dylan hasn't texted which means he's probably practicing for our next game .
I'm starting to get uncomfortable so I pick her up and she puts her hands on the back of my neck slowly waking up as I walk up the stairs to my room. "Jess what are you doing" she says with a raspy voice.
"We're going in my room I was uncomfortable" I say while opening my door , "okay" she rests her head on my shoulder and I gently place her on the bed while I lay on her chest and kiss her cheek.
She smiles and we both fall asleep.
I wake up and check the time , it's 7:10 am and Melanie slept over . She has no clothes so I have to give her some of mine .
"Melanie wake up" I run my fingers through her hair as she starts to get up . "Good morning Jess" she says then she kisses me "we have morning breat-" she kisses me again "it's only two kisses" I smile and get up to brush my teeth.
"What am I gonna wear I slept over?" She says as I give her a spare tooth brush "you can wear my clothes" I say while turning the shower on .
"Okay" she says as she walks into my closet "I'm gonna wear this , she plops the clothes on my bed.
