That day on the roof, Eris was there when percy saw it. She knew it wasn't his imagination, cause she saw it too. So when it happened a second time, she wanted to tell him so badly. Eris wanted to tell him the truth about everything but she knew that wasn't possible. Instead she focused her mind on another topic, but before she could speak up someone else beat her to it.
"What a loser" a voice from beside her spoke out. Eris slowly turned her head to the side, eyes narrowing and her lip curled up in a snarl.
"wanna say that again?" eris sneered, her nose flaring and fork held tight in her hand.
The boy couldn't help but widen his eyes, looking back and forth from her to the fork in her hand. stuttering over his words and fear creeping up into him he quickly shook his head. "n-no!" he squealed out before ushering his friend to move away from them. After he got a good distance away she scoffed and turned back to percy. He was giving her that look that she tried her best to stay away from. Instead of saying anything she shrugged her shoulders and went back to her tray, picking at the odd looking peas.
Later on their duo became a trio, not that they were complaining, grover was the first one to interact with them without calling them weird. Although Eris was a little suspicious of him, he always proved her wrong and she later grew to understand he truly just needed friends too. and when eris learned that ginger girl was messing with grover too, percy could swear he saw steam coming out from her head.

Eris truly despised that red head, and when Eris found out that she was going on the trip too she revolted in disgust. Percy and Grover thought she was overreacting, but grew quick to learn that she most definitely was not.
As Percy looked up at the statue, Eris looked up at him. if only he knew. she thought, sighing and looking back at her own clipboard. "percy?" Mr.brunner spoke out, making her snap out of her own focus on her clipboard. she noticed percy jump slightly, almost dropping his clipboard before calling out.
"mom?" percy said, his tone slightly confused. eris mentally facepalmed groaning when she realized that a certain someone would speak up. an annoyingly high pitched voice decided to make itself known not much to eris's liking.
"I'm right here, sweetie! Mommy's here!" Eris glared at her and Percy all but stared at her before looking away. Eris looked away too, deciding for once in her life to leave it alone. she looked at percy and frowned seeing his troubled expression. she softly placed her hand on his arm, giving him a small smile. He smiled back in return before their moment was ruined. her happy demeanor changed into a sour one as she removed her hand and crossed her arms in annoyance.
"Mr.jackson, you will learn to control yourself. Do you understand me?" Mrs.dodds announced, making eris scoff loudly. Eris began to speak but Percy beat her to it. percy frowned and furrowed his brows, pointing at himself.
"me?" his hand moving to point at the girl. basically saying she was the problem not me.
"Do you understand me?" she argued. her brow lifting up in a challenging matter.
"He can't help it mrs. dodds. Percy's special" that girl she despised spoke once again and Eris couldn't take it anymore. Eris took a step towards her and smiled manically, the red haired girl taking a step back.
"That's it, you little sh-" but before she could go any further, Percy grabbed her hand holding her back as a loud voice broke them apart.
"That's enough!" Mr.brunner shouted. Eris didn't even notice him coming over, her hand still in his and her gaze still locked onto that girl. Eris only looked away when she heard Mr.brunner.
"And I belive you'll be needing this." He reached into his left coat pocket, pulling out an oridnary looking black pen. Percy look at the pen in confusion but none the less took it. "hang onto that, 'tis a mighty instrument." before leaving he looked at Eris with a knowing smile, then finally taking his leave. she watched him leave before turning back to Percy.
"cool pen, p." she jokes before turning on her heel to find grover. As she left, Percy shook his head before taking one last look at the statue.
