The trio made their way through the camp, Nancy trailing behind with a mixture of apprehension and curiosity. The scent of the forest mingled with the sounds of training demigods, creating an atmosphere that was both familiar and alien to Nancy.

As they approached the Big House, Annabeth couldn't shake the feeling of unease that had settled in her gut. Something about Nancy's sudden appearance didn't sit right with her. She couldn't help but wonder if there was more to this than met the eye.

Chiron was waiting for them outside, his centaur form towering over them as they approached. His expression was one of concern as he took in the sight of Nancy.

"What do we have here, Annabeth?" Chiron asked, his tone gentle yet authoritative. "WHAT! WHY IS HE A HORSE- WAIT! MR. BRUNNER?! WHAT." "Oh Nancy, we meet again. I am a centaur. "WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES THAT MAKE?!" Nancy is wide eyed.

Annabeth took a deep breath, trying to push aside her distrust of Nancy. "This is Nancy Babafit," she said, her voice tinged with irritation. "Its Bobofit. Get it right." Nancy said with a bratty attitude. "She somehow ended up here at camp, and we need to figure out how and why." Grover added.

Chiron nodded thoughtfully, his eyes narrowing as he studied Nancy. "Indeed, this is quite unusual," he mused. He took off his reading glasses and put down his book. "My oh my, actually this has never happened before. Mortals cant be here. Come inside, let us discuss this immediately."

They followed Chiron into the Big House, where the air was thick with the scent of ancient books and magic. Annabeth couldn't help but feel a sense of reverence as they entered the cozy living area, filled with overstuffed armchairs and flickering firelight.

Once they were seated, Chiron turned his attention to Nancy. "Now, Nancy, can you tell us how you came to be here?" he asked kindly. Annabeth could see that he hated this bitch too.

Nancy shifted uncomfortably in her seat, her eyes darting around the room. "I... I honestly don't know," she admitted, her voice small. "One moment I was in my room, and the next thing I knew, I was here." Annabeth snorts clearly not buying it.

Chiron furrowed his brow, deep in thought. "It seems we have a mystery on our hands," he said gravely. "But rest assured, Nancy, we will do everything in our power to help you."

Annabeth couldn't help but feel a twinge of sympathy for Nancy. Was she telling the truth? Or is she faking this mess. But right now it seemed she was clearly out of her element and in need of assistance.

"We'll start by examining any magical disturbances in the area," Chiron continued, his eyes sparkling with determination. "And in the meantime, Nancy, you are welcome to stay here at camp until we can figure out a solution."

"NO! SHE IS NOT-" Chiron cuts Annabeth off. "Annabeth. I've said what I said. If you yell again you will not be happy with your outcome." Chiron said maturely. Annabeth rolled her eyes. She was annoyed. But Nancy nodded gratefully, a flicker of relief crossing her face. Perhaps, Annabeth thought, this unexpected turn of events could lead to some unexpected alliances.

But deep down, she couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to Nancy's arrival than met the eye. And she was determined to uncover the truth, no matter what it took.
