IT'D BEEN A LONG TIME COMING, BUT KATO NAVARRO HAD FINALLY SEEMED TO DISCOVER WHO SHE WAS.

She was born with an extraordinary gift - a dangerously and deadly strong array of powers that are practically unmatched. And it turned out that she had this gift because she was not born of Earth. She was from Haxodon, a planet millions of lightyears away from ours but had been destroyed long ago. And Kato, along with seven other Survivors, were the last known residents of Haxodon. But that didn't bother her. After learning who she was and where she came from, she had come to accept what her life had become. And, on top of that, she'd found a second family in the team known as the Avengers - the team she had worked alongside to save the world once before.

However, there is one specific Avenger that Kato's drawn to more than the others - the Man Out Of Time, Steve Rogers. She can't explain it, but she's comfortable with him, more so than the other Avengers. It puzzles her, but she passes it off as her just having a new friend - after all, she's never had one before. But as time passes, strange feelings begin to surface, and Kato realizes that she's starting to see him as more as a friend. She tries to ignore it, to pretend it's not real, but even an alien can't deny what she feels in her heart.

But just when she admits her feelings, and everything in the world seems to feel right, tragedy strikes in the worst possible scenario. Then, to make matters worse, alliances are tested, and dark secrets slowly begin to come to light. Struggling to balance diplomacy, her love for Steve, and listening to her heart, Kato eventually discovers that not all enemies are those you can see.

Sometimes, they're the demons we keep inside.

so as we discussed in my message board post, Flicker has now become a trilogy, which is now officially called the Honey & Wildfire Trilogy. this book picks up right where Flicker leaves off, and takes place within the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War. i say this all the time, but age of ultron is truly where the avengers' relationship went to shit 😭

also, i would like to make it very clear here. I DO NOT TOLERATE NEGATIVITY OF ANY KIND IN THIS BOOK. i read every single comment in my books and in the past there have been many comments where people have said some very rude things (i.e., telling my characters to fuck off, telling my characters to go fuck themselves, throwing shade or being rude/hateful towards nice, good people just because of what their characters said/did, etc.), and quite frankly, i'm tired of it. so from now on, any comments like that will be deleted if i see them, and if you leave multiple comments of that nature, you will be muted. meaning that feedback is welcome, but don't be a dick about it. so basically, if you don't have anything nice to say, do me and yourself a favor and keep it to yourself. thank you.

anyway, i don't have much else to say other than if you steal this plot i will personally come to your house with a hot air balloon and send you to space. you've been warned.
