"I'm not getting on that thing." He denied with conviction.
Come on, Jisung might be crazy, but not enough to do that!
He knew that motorcycles were an extremely dangerous vehicle. They were going too fast, they were moving between the cars, and they did not respect anything or anyone, much less the road safety regulations.
As a child, he was even afraid that one would run over him and kill him from one second to the next, so there was no way Jisung was going to get on that deadly device.
"Damn Han-ah, it's just a motorcycle, it's not that big of a deal. It's not like it was a rocket..."
The other assured with conviction while shaking his head and covering his eyes with his hand. The scene was comical and all.
"B-but it's dangerous!" The younger protested, convinced that he would die if he climbed on that thing.
"Tell me what alternative you have to get to the city at this time." The oldest challenged him.
Okay, it's not like there was an alternative at those hours. The buses had stopped passing a long time ago, and the nearest stop was nowhere near where they were. By the way, Jisung didn't even know where they were since he had simply followed the other.
Minho didn't say anything else and got into the vehicle to start putting it into drive.
"D-do I really have to get on that thing?" He asked hoping there was another option.
Minho sighed with some despair.
"Just go up and that's it." He sentenced.
It was too late to argue with him anymore, so despite his fear of killing himself in that demon vehicle, Jisung got on the motorcycle and sat behind the older man. Although it was quite difficult for him to get in, since he had obviously never gotten into a vehicle like that.
Minho made to start the engine, but was interrupted when Han grabbed his arm with fear, stopping his intentions to speak again.
"W-wait! Where do I hold on so I don't fall?" He asked, afraid of losing his balance and falling into the void while the vehicle was going a thousand kilometres per hour.
"Ugh..." He sighed "Hold on to my waist..." He raised his arms slightly without letting go of the handlebars so that hesitant little arms surrounded his waist tightly. Minho sighed but resigned himself to that.
For the oldest, the situation was also complicated. He could have returned earlier and not found the minor lying there and he would have saved himself all that, but it would not have been pleasant for him to know that the minor had spent the entire night outdoors.
"Don't you usually wear a helmet for this?" Jisung asked still with concern in his voice, though he only received a sigh of complaint in response.
He didn't answer or add anything else. He simply drove the vehicle to the asphalt road and seconds later started the engine at full speed, making the boy behind him hold his waist tighter. Minho smiled. Actually, having the minor like this was also part of his plan, although it had not been intentional to end up in that situation.
And that was how they headed towards the shining city in the distance, since the academy was somewhat separated from the rest of civilization.
