I woke up at 10am and found my brother sound asleep next to me. Shit he has school! ,, wake up! Wake up! Mike you have school! " I said while shaking him. ,, hm..? Huh? Oh right! Wait.. Why didn't mom wake me up...?" he said softly.
I opened my door and saw my mom passed out on the couch. ,, she went out yesterday. Come on get ready! I'm going to go on a walk after I drop you off! " I say while gathering things in my backpack. My brother quickly gets up and changes, grabbing his backpack before we walk out the door.
,, bye bud! Have a good day!" I said while waving at him. ,, bye!! " he said back. I sighed because I didn't intend on going back home. I was going to run away.
I was walking to a gas station to pick up snacks when I heard two cops talking. I immediately hid because the cops in are area will stop anyone walking by. I heard them talking about a woman and how she lost her daughter about 16 years ago. I went on a back road so the cops don't stop me because I'm around 16.
While heading to the has station I kept thinking about that woman. How did she loose her kid? Does her kid know about this? Is that kid still alive? I got to the gas station and was immediately stopped by a police officer.
,, hey kid what's your name?" he said while grabbing my wrist. ,, yn...?" I said calmly. ,, guys.. I think we may have found her. " ,, found who? What do you mean?? I didn't do anything!!" I removed his grip from my wrist and ran.
,, hey! Get back here kid! " I was already far from him, to far, and I didn't stop. I ran into a forest so he couldn't find me. What did he mean by we may of found her? Did I do anything? Why did he care who I am?
After another 20 minutes of running in the forest I finally stopped. I put all my stuff down and set up a tent. I may as well sleep in a tent if I'm going to sleep outside. I get in the tent and wrapped myself in a blanket before falling asleep.
