Chapter Seven

Emma's Pov
"I don't understand why I have the watch the kids, they aren't babies." I defended out, following out of the Marui pod, gently placing my hand over Neytiri's arms. She spun to face me for a moment.

Everyone was spread out learning their differences task. For the first time in my life, I was stuck and confused on what to do, I wanted to pull my weight without causing trouble.

My poor mate looked troubled for a moment before her eyes slightly lit up while she spoke tilting her head in my direction. "My little human.. why don't you ask Ronal what you can do?" My eyes grew behind my mask quickly.

"What are you crazy!?" I whispered hissed following after her on the sand frantic like, my feet staggering to keep up with the long strides of hers.

"Neytiri she is so scary and she is pregnant! Which makes her more scary." I whipped my head to where their shaded Mauri was it even felt all high and mighty gazing upon it, still whispering.

"What if she eats me." Her snickers had grown more before she kissed at my forehead a couple times, what a lovely gesture.

"I would protect you I'll be right here." How could I protest when she was already walking away. I growled quietly under my breath.

It took my body a few good ten minutes before I arrived near Ronal's and Tonowari's family Marui. I slightly peered my head inside seeing she was mashing up different paste and what not. The way she worked was magic like.

"Come in little one don't hide in the shadows." I gulped a little. Her eyes not leaving her work of the medicine. I spoke keeping my head up speaking towards her.

"I didn't mean to bother you.. I just don't know what to do?" She hummed a few times, I took it as invitation to slowly enter inside sitting on floor on my knees, the light purple paste smelled of berries.  She added a few more ingredients.

"What did you usually do?" I nibbled at my lip anxiety brewed in the pit of my tummy. I squirmed.

"I would gather plants and study them. See how you could use them in medicines and the effects they have on human's and Na'vi. And I helped Mo'at. Neytiri's mom." I hated how I could ramble a lot, when talking about the kind of line of work that made me so excited. A slight scoff but a smile grew over her tight face.

"I have a offer for you, you can be my assistant and help me gather what I need. Its sometimes hard to bend now that I'm pregnant again." My mouth went dry a little. Actually working along side Tsahik again? I would be a fool not to.

"I mean yes I would love to help you Ronal." She hummed some  more. I strike up a chat to keep km her good side. "How far along are you?" She blinked a couple times.

"It should be here soon. I seem to notice you watch the children a lot, do you want one of your own?" Gosh why was I so flustered. I never really thought about having children of my own. I always saw Lo'ak Neteyam, Kiri, Tuk and even Spider as my children.

"I've never thought about it before." Our eyes met with one another. I paused for a moment thinking about it.

"You've taken the time to know our culture while being a human. When did you meet Neytiri and Jake?" My own eyes fluttered a couple times running my fingers along my inner thighs.

"I met them right towards the end of the war Neytiri was already pregnant with Neteyam. Jake was my friend and I got to stay.  They were already mated." I paused for a moment licking at my lower, I smiled to myself just thinking about them.

"I love and care for my whole family they mean a lot." Ronal waa actually listening to me she made a ton of medicine just from me rambling on and on about hidden feelings I didn't know what's there.

"Back when I was much younger and Tonowari choose me. I knew I would speak for Eywa and be Tsahik. I knew that while he was off with the village, I would be alone and longed for a third mate so I wouldn't be lonely in my early days." My eyes grew again, I didn't expect her to be so bold with just telling me that.

I didn't know what to say, she stood up her hips swaying while she grabbed up a basket. "Well come now, your first day of learning our day starts now I move quickly." I scrambled up to get up with her, scrambling out of her Marui.

I could do this, finally standing up to help in anyway I can. I felt so small near her form staying beside her the entire time we walked down the beach.
