It was just another day on Planet Vegeta, and Frieza had ordered all Saiyans to return to Planet Vegeta "to give them an official announcement," or at least that's what they believed. Meanwhile, in the meat distribution center on Planet Vegeta, a beautiful Saiyan with green armor and magenta bracelets named Gine was working her usual job cutting meat, thinking it would be another ordinary workday, until her husband arrived, injured.

_Gine, surprised, asked her husband: "What? Did I hear correctly? Are you telling me that Lord Frieza plans to destroy Planet Vegeta and exterminate all the Saiyans? It can't be... But why would Lord Frieza destroy us along with our planet if we Saiyans have always been loyal to him?"

_Bardock replied: "Because Frieza is afraid of the appearance of the legendary Super Saiyan."

_Gine, astonished, asked: "Super Saiyan? But isn't that supposed to be a myth? And how do you know that Lord Frieza plans to destroy us along with all of Planet Vegeta?"

_Bardock replied: "I know because Toma and all the other members of my squad were killed by Dodoria on Planet Meat under Frieza's orders, and I was the only one who survived. Dodoria told me clearly that that bastard Frieza plans to wipe us Saiyans out."

_Gine, perplexed, said: "It can't be..."

_Bardock said to Gine: "That's why I need you to escape from this planet with Kakarot and go to Earth, which is a planet with low-level inhabitants and outdated technology. You'll be safe there, and don't worry about Raditz since he's on a mission on a distant planet with Prince Vegeta and Nappa."

_Gine, distressed, asked her husband: "But why aren't you coming with us?"
