I fell for you, not because of your beauty,
nor is it that I'm lonely.
Not because of love I thirst for,
Nor is it those eyes In which I adore.
I love you because of your heart,
the feeling of peace, sets it all apart.
The feeling of home after bad day,
those burdens, stress, and pain all go away.
How pure and kind your heart is,
as if you are giving me a soft kiss.
Your heart gave my life some bliss,
the type of feeling I kind of miss.
So much joy, you can resonate and form.
Like a calm weather, after a bad storm.
This sense of calmness you give me is like no other.
A sense of peace where nothing is there to bother.
How great God is, making a heart like yours.
A type of heart like non other before.
Helped me through my own challenges,
And it sometimes hurts me during your absences.
Your love is so pure and white,
As white as snow.
For storms causes bad days, but when there is snow,
It is where pure joy is shown.
How selfless you are, putting others first.
Such humility and selflessness where you never even boast.
And because of this love you have,
It is what I value the most.
But why, why do you make me feel this way?
Why do you give me a feeling so bittersweet?
A type of feeling, I can't explain.
Like as if two souls connected finally meet.
Because you have given me something to lose.
Sometimes I even wonder why does it have to be you?
A type of feeling you have given me in which I can't seem to move?
Why do you have to make me feel like this, to the point I love you.
You have given me peace in which I enjoy,
But in the same time, this feeling can also destroy.
Your endless happiness and positivity, is my joy.
And this is the reason why I have become a lover boy.
