Keiji opened his eyes, not exactly knowing where he was. He looked around, there were no one else, except him and... his love.
"You're here, love." he said. Tears fall from both of their eyes. They hugged each other as if they haven't in years, which, they haven't. "I-I'm here... with you." Keiji said. He doesn't xactly know where "here" is, but does it matter? Does he care? No. As long as he's with Kotaro, none of that matters.
"Thank you... for waiting..." He said. No word could describe how he feels right now.
"And thank you... for continuing on loving me through all those years." Thhe owl head said.
Both of them were full of joy and love. Even if none of them spoke a word, they both know that NOTHING, not even death, could ever separate them. While some couples in love stories promise "Until death do us part" or something along those lines, for Kotaro and Keiji, death may be an obstacle, it is not enough to end their love.
They kissed. Even after all those years, their kiss still felt the same. Full of love and care, as tender as ever, something words cannot describe.
"I love you"
"I love you too, Kou."
"I love you." 3 words. 8 letters. Takes a second to say. Yet so meaningful. But for the two, no word, not even 'I love you', could describe their love for each other.
