I ran and ran even if i was out of breath. When i finally got to camp my mother and father ran all the way to me with fear in their eyes for me. "Where have you been!"Asked my mother with fear in her eyes. "I've been in the woods, i couldn't sleep so i took a walk to the pool then i heard howling so i followed it and.." I stopped myself, i looked at my mother and saw that there was fear mixed in with wonder. "And what?" Asked my mother. I saw that every wolf was gathering around me even my father and the deputy who usually have things to do. " I saw.." I started. "how am i going to tell them" I thought. " I can't say mom,i'm sorry" I said and ran to the den and laid down. The next day Blackclaw and i went on a hunting training. I caught a rabbit and a squirrel. when we were done blackclaw padded to my mother and father and talked with them, so i padded off towards the fresh kill pile. When i was done i padded up to my friends Moonpaw and tigerpaw. Moonpaw and Tigerpaw were eating at the edge of the apprentice den. "Hi, may i sit here and eat with you?" I asked. "sure you can." Said tigerpaw as moonpaw nodded. As we ate our mice and squirrel we talked about how training went. "Yeah, i caught a mouse." Said moonpaw. "I got three mice." Said tigerpaw happily. "I caught two squirrels" I said happily as i gulped down a bite of mouse. "No wonder why your dad is so happy for you" Said moonpaw with pride in her eyes as if she was her sister. " He's proud for the whole pack" I said. "So what did you find when you left the camp?" Asked tigerpaw with question in his tone. " It's hard to explain." I said looking down at the ground. When i was done eating my mouse i got up and padded over to the medicine den. "Hello, Any wolf hear?" I asked looking into the den. "Yes, i'm here, What do you need?" asked Smoketail. "I need to tell you something.. " I said. "Like what?" Asked stormtail with question in his tone. I saw Blackstripe, the brother of Blackclaw." I said looking at smoktail. "What... you saw Blackstripe.. but he's dead." Said Smoketail As he let a growl out and eyes bigger than i ever saw them. "Yeah, i saw him" I said trying not to wail like a pup. " some how he gotten through death, he can't be alone then." Said Smoketail trying to talk to him self, but i can hear him. When i left the den i went to my friends and we all went to bed. Later that night i couldn't sleep i had bad dreams about blackstripe. "He can't be alive" i thought in my head. He just can't.
