As i woke up from moonlight i got up and padded to the pool of water. "Why is my paws so stiff"? I asked myself,and took some laps of water. When i was done i padded up to the den and curled up to sleep again. I woke up again to the sound of shaking of pelts, and when i finally got tired of trying to sleep i shaked my pelt and padded to the medicine wolf den,"Hey, i need something my paws are really stiff Smoketail"I said looking for the medicine wolf, "Okay, hold on let me look,Ahh, here eat these it'll help your stiff paws" He said as i ate. "Yuck" I Howled in disgust. When i was done i padded out of the den, as i was padding there was a howle, Every wolf padded and ran to the high rock were jock sat, and when every wolf was sitting he spoke, " Today is the day when my daughter turns into an apprentice" He said, I could feel my Excitement rising as i padded up to the edge of the high rock. "Silver, do you promise to train harder than you ever have"? "I do father" i said "Then from this day on your now called snowpaw, blackclaw will train you."Said Jock with proudness in his golden eyes, howls rose up to congratulate a new apprentice. Excitement rose up and i howled with the rest of my pack and just as i joined i saw the aurora borealis glowing beautiful colors for happiness.
