Sunghoon's POV
I was a bit nervous and I have no idea what's the reason why. I took a deep breath and a long exhale just to get rid o the nervous that was in my chest but it was no use. I didn't looked at that mirror before I could go in here. I should've had. But still, I wasn't just nervous about here and instead, I was also nervous about my brother, trying to rescue my wife at the castle.
Guards were probably guarding the every area of the castle. But him entering the castle wasn't my problem. He can shapeshift into a rat. My problem was escaping out. I know for sure that Yuki can't do shapeshifting. I sighed and trying to clear my mind. I'm sure that Jay will think of an idea about that one.
"Park Sunghoon." I stood up hearing his royal highness. He's already ready. We already attempted to find the mastermind of this chaos for a week now and the king already had it on planned yesterday. As the soldiers and councils were fighting against the Level E, the two pureblood will get that chance to find the mastermind in the whole city. "Let's go." We got out of the tent and the breeze air already smelled chaos.
The sky was covered with cloud as if it was about to rain. I then transformed to a large wolf and as always, the monarch hoped onto me and I ran around the city. I was trying to find something suspicious using my nose and I smelled it. I ran as fast as I could and I stopped in a small house that looks abandoned not long ago.
The Sim hope down and went inside first. I went back to my original form and looked at the Sim with knitted brows. Not even a thank you? Looks like being a monarch inside his head too. Same vibes like his greedy ancestor. Just how many secrets will he hide from his sister?
I just shook my head and followed him inside.
There was like some witchcraft inside. There are even plenty of bodies chained in the wall, already turned as a Level E. But most important of all, was the crystal ball that was glowing. The door closed on its own. My nervousness came back again as I have a feeling of something. "You're such a fool, are you?" Jake turned around to see me and he was already wearing the smirk in his face. He let out his hand and a fire was presented in his hand. "You planned this, don't you?" I said calmly but he just laughed like a maniac. "So you're the one who's behind this chaos?" I asked.
"I was just getting back at you. This is just the second phase." He told and he turn his palm to the crystal ball. "If I crush this ball, Level E will go more wild than before." he said, as if he was trying to warn me. Looking at his eyes, I already saw the hatred.
"Was it because of my Yuki?"
"She was mine in the first place! Your uncle killed my parents! And now what? She have already fallen head over heels to you. Without you meeting her, I could've become king two months ago!" he explained. I took a step forward with my hands bald into a fist and looked at him with knitted brows.
"You weren't supposed to be a king, I was." I told him as I placed my hand on my chest. He laughed at my statement, taking that as my joke. "What a joke are you, mesmerized by the crown and the monarch title?" He said but I just smirked at him. He probably doesn't know something about his ancestor. "No, but your Lord Percy was the one who burned my ancestor to ash, he was obsessed being a monarch." I said but he didn't buy it and turned to the crystal ball.
"Say goodbye." he shoot a fireball at the crystal ball making it fly in the air and then he laughed like a maniac as his whole body disappear into the thin air. I forgot about Jake and was busy to catch the crystal ball. I sighed in relief when I catch the crystal ball but just in time, the door went open and soldiers barge in along with the councils. I saw the councils in shock.
"Park Sunghoon! How could you?! It's been you all along?!"
"No."
"Then explain this!"
They won't believe me if I told that I was been set up by Jake. So, I stayed silent and just looked at them with no emotion on my face and even in my eyes.
Then, two guards took my arms and one went towards me and took the crystal ball. "Guards, take him to the dungeon." I heard Jake's voice and he was behind of the councils. He was smirking at me, hinting me that I fell in his trap. I didn't care.
