Final : Episode 9

Jake was pissed off to the fact that he couldn't get her like he expected to be. All he thought it was easy. But this girl fell head over heels to Park Sunghoon. "I may not be, however..." he said with a calm voice and then he took steps towards the girl and once he was near enough, she cupped her cheeks. "Without you by my side, things could go down to you if you choose the wrong decision." he threatened the girl and he then smirked. His eyes beamed red looking to Eunmi with full of cold in his eyes. "Especially to your prince charming." Jake said.

If he wanted to achieve that goal of becoming a full monarch, he needs to marry his sister to achieve his full power. Eunmi gritted her teeth as she feel helpless yet no other choice but to obey her brother's decision. Jake let go off her and Eunmi turned around and walk away with clench fists. 

She made her way back to the east tower but with tears in her eyes. All she thought that having to live like royalty was like you'll never wanted more for it. But it seems like you entered hell at this point and that's what Eunmi was experiencing. No freedom of choice and even in love. Everything was forced to do.

She got in her room and slammed the door shot. As she got closer into her bed, she kneeled down and cried in the comforters. Crying about every mess that she got into and wishing that she wasn't born in the Sim family. She wiped her tears out as soon as she remembered about the letter that appeared in her plate earlier.

She took it out of her sleeve and opened it. 

My Yuki,

I want to express my sincere apology to you about what i said that evening. I was a fool for being such a weakling for you, instead of fighting for our love. This time, I want to show you that I'm no longer afraid of  telling our love to others. I'm a pureblood and so does you are but the only difference is that I have the hybrid blood. I want to show everyone what we have is pure love between feuded family. That we care for each other no matter what. Not because we got married in the woods that night. Instead, I've already devoted my heart to you not only as a lover but also a husband that you'll love.

Today, I attended a council's meeting regarding about the unknown spread of level Es in the city. I was expecting you to be there but unfortunately, you weren't. Jake reasoned why you didn't go is be cause you're not feeling good but I didn't bother that lie. I know you were adjusting into your vampire form but I know that he'll lock you up in the east tower. I saw it in the magic mirror that predicts the future. 

I was one of  the vampires who'll participate in the mission to find out who started that Level E break out. And after we accomplish this mission, with or without permission by your brother or his highness, I will see you no matter what. That's my promise. 

Before this letter ends, there's a key in this envelope. It is a key for a compartment in the wooden floor and I placed something inside. Whatever you see inside that compartment, I'll trust you to keep it a secret and don't let your brother find it if you don't want it to be destroyed by him. That item was my last ace. I hope I could trust you with it.

After reading the letter, she flipped the envelope upside-down to let out a metal key that already screams like a rebellion's key. The color of the key was black and there was a moonstone on the key's bow. Eunmi was looking so nervous as she holds the key. She's already thinking that Sunghoon's life depends on what's inside of the compartment. 

What could it possibly inside that compartment that it sounds like some kind of important to Sunghoon. "Sunghoon..."

A knock was heard in the reading room of his highness Jake Sim the a messenger came in and kneel his left knee as he bowed his head. "Your highness, everything's ready. I have the list of the councils and the ones who volunteer to join in the mission." he told and gave the scroll to Jake. He took it and removed the ribbon and open it.

He was in search for the name that he wanted to see and there it was;

He smirked and rolled it back and gave them to the messenger. "Tell the guards that I'll be needing 10 knights and I need my horse." Jake stood up from his seat and went out of the reading room. He called for a maid and lets them prepare his clothes. "Oh and also, tell to the head maid to tell my sister that I'll be away for two weeks and I'm expecting that everything will be alright when I wasn't around in the castle."

"Yes, your highness." the maids told and gave a bow to the Sim.

"One more thing, as I am away. I'm expecting you to keep an eye on Eunmi. Double the guards that will watch her and don't let her do something reckless and some dumb things to do." he added.

"Yes, your highness, as you order."

Jake was finished getting dress and a butler then brought his sharp yet loved sword that his father gave him. This sword could even beheaded someone easily that you'll never be needing an axe for it. He took the sword from the butler and he got it out from the scabbard and tried it to swing left and right. He stopped swaying it mid-air and looked for his red eyes on the reflection of his sword. "Everything's already in plan, don't let it ruined because of my troublesome sister, got that?" Jake repeated and butlers and maid followed his order. He then put his sword back to the scabbard.
