X slowly kneeled down, reaching to pick up a gray mask.

Upon picking it up, he slowly rose back up. He looked down at the mask, brushing off dust that had coated it. Slowly, he rose the mask up above his head, watching as a glowing blue X formed in the center of it.

X slowly woke up, still slightly dazed. As he rose from his mattress, he turned his head. To his surprise Raelynn and Lila were standing right next to him. X jumped back slightly before quickly falling back into a state of calm. "Jesus Christ, were you two watching me sleep or something?" He asked, getting up from his mattress.

Lila quickly responded to X's question. "Damian told us what happened last night. We just want to make sure you're ok."

X turned to her slowly, sighing. "I appreciate your concern but I assure you, I'm fine." He said, before walking over to a pile of clothes, trying to pick what he was gonna wear for the day.

"You sure you're ok?" Lila asked, the two twins turning around to face him.

"Yes! I'm fine..." he had raised his voice slightly, anger boiling in him. "Now, if you two don't mind, I have to get ready." He sauntered over to his bathroom, closing the door behind him.

"Get ready for what?" Raelynn asked. X stepped out of the bathroom a few seconds later, changed into grayish-blue sweat pants and a sweatshirt with a hoodie.

"There's a guy selling a property online and is showing it off today. I don't exactly want the money Siobhan gave me to go to waste so I'm planning on buying it. Have it be a base of operations of sorts." He said, grabbing a bag of bread, to put some into a toaster.

"X..." Lila said. "You just lost someone you loved, maybe you should take a break." She suggested, slowly walking towards him.

He turned around, starting to yell at her "I DON'T NEED A BREAK!" He paused for a moment before continuing. "I AM FINE. NOW YOU TWO, PLEASE LEAVE" he pointed towards the door to his apartment.

Slowly, the twins began to exit, closing the door behind them. Once they were gone, X began to feel guilt course through him, but that quickly diminished as he went back to try and focus on the task at hand.

As he made his way to the property, he saw it wasn't much. An empty, abandoned, parking lot with a small garage bordering it. All things considered, it was rather desolate.

Turning his head slightly, he saw a man exit a shiny black car. The man slowly began to approach X, wearing a nice black suit with a blue tie.

"Hey there! You looking to buy the property?" The man asked, reaching out to shake X's hand. X returned the hand shake. "Yes, yes I am." He replied.

The suited man ended the hand shake not long after. "Well, frankly, I'm glad someone's finally buying the property." The man said, putting his hands into his pockets. "This place is not only pretty unflattering." He then pointed to all the buildings surrounding the area, blocking any sort of view and making the whole place kind of tucked away. "But it's also got some abandoned sewer systems tunnels underneath that haven't been maintained in a while, making the chances of the pavement collapsing quite high."

X looked around the area before turning back to the man. "So why are you telling me this? I thought people like you were supposed to only say good things about this place. You know, the power of persuasion." X said, feeling a bit untrusting of the man.

The man let out a small chuckle before speaking. "Normally I would but due to just how poor of conditions this place is in, legally, I have to state some things about it to buyers to avoid a lawsuit." He paused for a moment. "I hope I haven't discouraged you or anything into buying."
