Tangled Fates

Destiny played the game!!

Vivian was heading towards her best friend Ryan's room, needing someone to talk to after her parents' tragic death. Her eyes were full of tears; she just wanted someone to comfort her. However, she stopped when she overheard two men talking. One was Ryan's father, and the other was his secretary. She watched as Ryan's father handed money to the secretary, instructing him to do something suspicious before walking away.

Vivian's world turned upside down when she saw another man enter the room. He looked suspicious, and the secretary handed him the money, saying, "Thank you for failing the brakes. That's why Vivian's parents died. We have no more rivals now."

Shocked and devastated, Vivian rushed to Ryan's room and told him everything. But Ryan refused to believe her. "I can't believe my father would do that. No, they were friends. Stop accusing my parents, Vivian!" he said angrily.

With teary eyes, Vivian replied, "If you don't believe me, then I just can't continue this friendship relationship whatever between us, but now its over." Ryan tried to stop her, but he couldn't. She left, heartbroken, and cried alone. Meanwhile, Ryan was torn apart, devastated by the thought of losing his best friend and the girl he loved.

Vivian was utterly devastated. Heartbroken, she locked herself in a room and cried. Her servants couldn't bear to see her in such a state, so they called her brother, who was abroad.

"She needs you, sir," David said over the phone.

He sighed deeply, recalling the funeral of their parents. "I already told her to come with me after Mom and Dad's funeral, but she wouldn't listen. Okay, I'm coming to take her," he replied with determination in his voice.

When Ryan learned that Vivian was leaving the country forever, his heart shattered. The weight of his disbelief and anger now seemed unbearable. He realized too late the gravity of his actions and words. Desperate to stop her, he rushed to her house but something stopped him, Vivian words he love his family more than anything. 

So now he has to take a tough decision he has to choose her best friend and the person who always their for him in every decision and the person he love the most OR his parents who gave birth to him and always loved him unconditionally. He said with teary eyes," God, just why just tell me why I can't take this decision. I can't suspect my own parents or his secretary Gabriel who is just like my father, he always took care me, even saved me from Dad many times, he is like our family, I know Vivian just misunderstood something, I know.

Ryan tried one last time to convince Vivian. "Vivian, please, you've misunderstood. My parents can't do this. They wouldn't."

But Vivian, her heart hardened by grief and betrayal, couldn't be swayed. She looked at him with a steely resolve and said, "From now on, Ryan Reyes, you and your family are murderers. I swear I will come back to take my revenge on you. Mark my words, Reyes family, I will come back soon, and then you'll know what pain is."

With those final, chilling words, she left, leaving Ryan standing there, feeling a profound sense of loss and fear for what the future might hold.

Vivian, ready to leave everything behind, hugged her friend Emma tightly. "I'm going to miss you," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion.

She then turned to Asher, embracing him too. "Just leave this cheater, Asher. Ryan is a betrayer and a cheater like his family," she said, her words filled with bitterness.

After saying her final goodbyes to her servants and secretary David, she gave Ryan one last, anger-filled look. "I hate you. I'm ashamed that I ever believed in a person like you," she spat out, her voice cold.

In a final act of severing ties, Vivian threw away everything Ryan had ever given her, except for a bracelet she forgot about in her haste. Ryan, desperate to hold her one last time, knew he couldn't. He stood there, shattered and lost, watching as the person he had envisioned his future with walked out of his life.

At last, Vivian sat in the car with her brother, her heart heavy with sorrow and anger. As the car started to move, Ryan realized the finality of her departure. Desperate, he ran after the car, but stumbled and fell. Vivian saw him through the rear window, and tears began streaming down her face.

"Why, Ryan? You know I loved you, but you just broke me. I hate you," she murmured, her voice filled with pain and betrayal.

Everyone around them was filled with sadness, their eyes brimming with tears, as they watched the heart-wrenching scene. However, a peculiar detail went unnoticed by most:  Vivian's parents' secretary David and Ryan's parents secretary Gabriel, had strange smirks on their faces looks like they are happy but nobody noticed.

Thus, the friendship of sixteen years shattered, and two best friends who once loved each other deeply were now turned into enemies.
