“say you'll never leave me”
The warm afternoon rays leaked into the classroom giving a nice orange colour. You always admired the beauty of the orange rays known during the noon times.
You always took long naps at specific times but always seemed to be awake at this specific time for no reason, whether to receive a mission or hang out with your friends, though in the future when your done with here you'll sleep all you want no distraction.
"So why'd you call me here Suguru?" you called out to suguru turning your eyes from the scenery outside to face the dark haired male leaning on the other side of the classroom in the shadow.
"especially all by myself, you specifically told me to come by myself, is this a confession~?" you tease to him but he remained with his down.
You weren't gonna lie he has been pretty out of it since a year ago even now he was more than usual but it wasn't him only, a few others as well, you feel like you missed on something.
"come on no response?" you asked pouting this time only getting him to glance at you before looking away.
"why'd you call if you weren't gonna say anything?" he still didn't respond.
"I feel like I'm missing out on something, everyone has been pretty bumbed out lately..." you confess in a slightly down tone but this finally got a response from him. He looked up directly at you before saying something you didn't think you'd ever hear from him.
"Haibara Yu is dead" blunt and simple, who knew such small phrase could cause your whole world to come crashing down.
"that's not something to joke about Suguru, right? It's a joke right?" no response from him. He knew you out of all people would take the news especially with how you viewed as your younger brother. He was right.
You never wanted to been seen as weak to those closest to you. Though you were emotionally weak, more than average no matter how much you deny it. When Suguru answered with silence your eyes teared up that second.
Immediately standing up you speed walked to the door that Suguru stood next to but before you could leave Suguru gently grabbed your arm restricting you from leaving. He pulled you into a tight embrace. Holding you in his arms, burying your face in his chest.
You couldn't even hold it in anymore and broke down in his arms, your tears soaking his shirt. He knew you better than any one else no matter how much you tired to hide how easily you cried.
Though, you were terrible at hiding it even Satoru knew but for the sake of you getting embarrassed no one mentioned it.
He hated seeing you this vulnerable, crying so much, you were so close to having a full blown breakdown but he didn't mind having you in his arms, even now he couldn't help the stupid smile forming on his face dispite the situation. If only you were in his arms for a different reason.
