"Tomioka-san is just too easily dislike-able!" The insect pillar, Shinobu Kocho chimed in.
"But I feel like most of you are just too harsh on him…" The love pillar, Mitsuri Kanroji pouted.
"If he wants to be liked, he should act like it! I'm not dealing with his arrogant attitude!" The wind pillar, Sanemi Shinazugawa expressed.
So basically, most of the pillars of the demon slayer corps decided to gather in the love pillar's estate to express their opinion about about another fellow pillar, the water pillar.
And of course, the water pillar, Giyuu Tomioka, wasn't invited to this gathering.
He didn't even know about said gathering.
"I just don't like how quiet he is. It pisses me off." The serpent pillar, Obanai Iguro said.
"I don't have a much strong opinion about him. I just think of him as a comrade." The stone pillar, Gyomei Himejima responded.
"I think he's a great guy! Although I can't really hear him talk all that well because of the ear damage!" The flame pillar, Kyojiro Rengoku exclaimed in his loud voice.
"He's like a decorative object to me. Like… I don't know how to describe it very well." The mist pillar, Muichiro Tokito said.
"He just seems depressed to me. Like something's bothering him. But he, for some reason, doesn't do anything about it." The sound pillar, Tengen Uzui said.
"I just think he's a little shy, you know." The love pillar said, a little sad about some of the opinions.
"Kanroji-san, you're too nice with that guy." Obanai said.
And that's basically how that gathering ended.
The next day however, Sanemi and Obanai had the unfortunate displeasure of knowing that the both of them had a mission with Giyuu.
So they discussed and agreed to meet at the town instead of going there together.[this was just to avoid Giyuu]
When Sanemi and Obanai arrived at the town, they were a little surprised to find Giyuu already there.
[You see, due to the fact that Giyuu's crow is old and delivers messages with a bunch of mistakes which results in Giyuu being late most of the time, they expected Giyuu to arrive late this time aswell]
"I expected your ass to arrive late." Sanemi said as he started next to the blue-eyed raven.
"Master resorted to sending me information in the form of letter and mails instead of letting my crow tell them to me verbally. It was a recent change, so I wouldn't be surprised if you weren't aware." Giyuu responded.
"Can we discuss about the demon?" Obanai said as he interrupted the casual conversation.
And so they discussed on how to take down this demon.
They say that the demon resides in an abandoned mansion, and that there's a bunch of statues of 'angels' that look like they're weeping.
But here's the twist, the statues are only statues when you're looking at them.
Once you turn away, they move and when you look back, they freeze.
And the some other slayers were all caught off guard because of this unique ability and end up joining the dead.
Some have reported that the statues are humans who have fallen as victims to the demon's blood demon art.
And some others say that the angels use the voice of their victim's voice to lure the demon slayers.
