Hope's POV

My mother hated hybrids. I don't really know why. Our kingdom hated them. Our family was a step down from loyalty. I wasn't all that find of the princess jazz anyway. Being bowed down to and being forced to marry some one of another kingdom. I mean I would rather see what a life of being a normal citizen is like. Anyway holy crap that got off track.

The boy sat on the ground. I told him I would help him. I really didn't know we're to go from there. The brunet had a slight frown on his face. His cat ears matched his hair. His tail swishing in the air like a metronome. He yawns and let's out a small mew. He covers his mouth instantly and his face goes red. He earns a stern look from my mother and a heated glare from his father. I hide a small giggle. He was so adorable.

The dinner was over and we were going home. Alec waves and turns to pick up the dishes. I feel bad that he has to pick up our mess.

We reach our home and I fall collapse on my bed with fatigue. I give a small yawn and close my eyes. As if life were mocking me the moment I close my eyes I felt a rush of energy surge through my body. I sigh. Every part of me was alert and I felt like I was being watched. I had good senses so I sprint to turn on the lights. My mom stands in the doorway. "Don't scare me like that mother." I mentally slap my self.

"I know you like that neko boy. I won't let such a high class girl fall in love with the lowest of the low." She grumbles.

"What's so bad 'bout them anyways. I don't see anything wrong with them." I shrug.

"The nerve you have speaking like the low life's. You must use proper language as a upper class citizen. No buts about it." She scolds.

I sigh as she leaves the room. No longer tired I reach for my sketch book. I place my pencil on the paper and let my hand do the drawing. Line and curve. Squiggle and scratch. After what seemed like hours I am done. Light streams through my bedroom window. I look at the picture of Alec. I hide the sketch book under my bed and get ready. I had to meet the princess in a few weeks. (I usually get ready this early when meeting royalty so I look good in front of them) So I better look for some new cloths, shoes and makeup. I hate the whole makeup and clothes shopping. It was a waste of time. I just did what I had to do to make a good first impression.

I wasn't tiered at all. Insomnia I shall say. It was well past midnight. I was still wide awake. This happens often. I have nothing to do. So I just sit there for the night. I didn't like nights like these. They were bland.

Each day consisted of me preparing and drawing etc. I was board. So I decided to go for a walk and go were my legs took me. Well somehow I wound up at Alec's house. Great for me. I hastily push the doorbell.

A/N: oh my god it's not as long. What am I thinking? Well I am tired and I have a lot more going on this summer than I thought. So yeah. Tomorrow I have to go to a friend's cottage. Like really? Why not write in the car and when you get back? Well I have marching band practice right after same with Tuesday and Thursday. The why not Wednesday? Cause I don't know. Just deal with the fact I am ranting to you I. A authors note. Any way. Hope you enjoyed leave a comment vote and follow my account @thedogtames {Shameless shout out} Anyway. Charlie had the great idea to do this. This is a co-op book. That is why the writing style is different. Thanks for the support on the book guys! C ya! And this is a filler anyway. So yeah!
