Chapter 4: Someone Has Road Rage

After the party and Brandon's house Taylor comes over and she helps me pack. We're flying to Miami, Florida. As Taylor goes to the bathroom I walk over to the night stand and grab the two necklaces I got from my uncle. "I made it." i say smiling looking at the picture of us in the locket. A tear rolls down my cheek. Taylor walks in, "Alright you have everything?" i jump and straighten my posture. I wipe the tear away and answer smiling "Yeah, Ill go hug my mom and we can go get your stuff together." I walk over to Taylor and we do our handshake. "Still got it." i say winking at her. "Mom!" i yell. "Yes?" she says walking closer to me. "I love you I'm going to Florida with Taylor. You cant hold me down mom I'm a free bird. Caw caw." i say moving my arms like a bird flying. She laughs and says "Alright have fun. Here take this." She shoves some money in my hand. When i look at the money later, its about 3 thousand dollars. After running to Taylor's house to get her some clothes, we hop in the car and head to the AirPort. It was about 4 AM but we planned on sleeping on the ride in the plane to Florida. "So we gonna meet some boys and shop and go to the beach." Taylor says smiling hugely. "Yes of cour- Ahhhh i love this song!" I turn the radio full blast causing Taylor's eyes to go wide. "Shut up and dance with me." i sing. "Oh no no no no no no.Traffic."she says sighing. "This woman is my destiny." i sing. She turns the volume to 3. "Really." i say looking at her. "I have to focus, i cant listen to a good song. It'll make me wanna dance. Just turn it up when were not in traffic alright?" she says sounding stressed. "Alright." i say looking out the window. There was a 15 minute long silence until Taylor broke it. "Mothaf-" and honked her horn at the car ahead of us. She rolled down her window and yelled "WATCH WHERE YOUR GOING IDIOT!" She rolls her window up calmly and smiles. "That little fucker!Get back in your lane dumbass! My lane. Your lane. Stay in that lane and ill stay in my car!" I laugh and continue to look out the window. "If this car passes me u-. That car just passed me up. Excuse the language. Here are some ear muffs, use them until I'm done." Taylor says. I grab the muffs and put them gently on my ears. All i hear is muffled curse words coming out of Taylor's mouth. She elbows me. "Man someone has road rage." i say through a laugh. "Yeah well we're here so." She says. We shriek. All those curse words i heard in the car were worth it, im excited!
