The Night Everything Went Right

The beginning

You wake up to your phone pinging back to back. It was a weverse notification as usual. You check your phone, put it back down, and sleep for a few more minutes, then your alarm goes off. You sigh, sit up, and stretch.
Days off are always fun until you have to work the next day. You hop in the shower to get ready to start your day, and today you are a bit happier, so you got a strawberry foam matcha and a cheese danish on your way to the park. You picked up a Manga yesterday that you were desperate to start, so you brought it with you to the park.
There was nobody out today; it was empty, like something else must be going on somewhere else in the city, but you didn't mind, more quiet to read. You were 3 chapters deep when you hear..

"So you can focus" You look up, and there he is. You look around, confused.
Can you be even talking to me right now?' you whisper.

"Thank you,' he hands you back your Photocard, and grabs your hand and writes inside your palm.
What are you doing?' you said, low-key panicking. '
"Just doing something that should have been done two nights ago."
After he finishes, you look at your hand. 'Wait, is this your number?
"Yes, I'm hoping you will text me,' he said while getting up ."
You were too stunned and stutter I.....I...
"You will? Great."
You started to get flushed.
"I have to go, but hopefully, I hear from you soon. Bye, Carla,' he smiles and leaves with his security."
You sat there speechless and then you checked the time. 'Dammit, I'm running late for work.' You first enter the number into your phone and save it, then grab your stuff and run to work. You made it just in the nick of time. After you got there, you went to the bathroom to make sure you entered the number correctly and then washed it off your hands...
