2 years since Magnolia's death, 5 months since Birch's
"C'mon baby, eat." Willow encourages Aspen. "You need it, and so do Ashe, Ivy, and Blossom." Aspen glances down at her swelling stomach and retches.
"Oh poor little sapling..." Willow sniffles.
"I'm home" comes Sunday's voice from behind them. Willow looks into her eyes.
It's worse then we thought.
Is she eating?
No.
Is she TRYING to kill her unborn dragonets?!
Sundew, she just lost her husband and, before that, her child! Have some sympathy. You know what it feels like.
Sundew winces as her wife's mind message comes through, remembering Cherry. Her birth baby. Cherry had been missing for 5 months now. It was discovered when Birch's head was found on a wooden stake in the middle of the Pyrrian rainforest. Glory and Deathbringer had brought the terrible news via a messenger.
Btw what I mean by birth baby is Sundew layed the egg. With Aspen, Willow is her birth mom (because she layed the egg Aspen was in) I didn't know what other words to use so just comment suggestions please.
Sundew walks over and gives Aspen a hug. "It'll be okay. You'll see."
