The newly formed duo finds themselves face-to-face with a tall building as part of the design it read ALEX AND CO. marketing. Whether Charlie has anything to do with it, Wyatt just hoped they had food.

Charlie scans a key card and steps into the door, dragging Wyatt behind her. Soon he spotted a freckled man with a head of hair a shade of orange that could rival the sun and the expression of a grumpy cat, standing behind a receptionist's desk.

''HEY GEORGE!'' Charlie called out, waving her hand in greeting. The young man identified as George raised his chin in greeting, his gloomy tired expression switched to a grin, the moment they walked in.

''hey Charlie'' he gave a confused look ''who's the dwarf''.Wyatt bit back a retort.

"Some guy I bumped into" She answered. George gave her a knowing look. She stared back at him.

"Fine! Fine, yes I did accidentally make that small fire''. She said, giving up ''...and my sister called the fire department''.George puffed out his chest in victory" I KNEW IT".

"thats a first" Charlene muttered. Wyatt leaned in to whisper back a quiet " I can tell".

''I HEARD THAT!''.The ginger yelled. But they were already making their way through the halls. Wyatt took in the building's interior. It looked modern and sleek, like the back of the newest iPhone model. They stopped in front of what It concluded to be a staff room. The room was adorned with a marble countertop, and on it, stood a lone microwave. There were also many chairs scattered around the room still, they all paled in comparison to the plush, overstuffed armchair, enveloped in soft, inviting upholstery, armchair positioned in front of the brown coffee table.

Sitting on that very chair was a tall Asian woman. Her straight black hair was pulled back in a ponytail.

''Welcome back headache" she said, taking a sip from her coffee mug that had the words <we must not die to shit on the mortals> imprinted on it. Truly beautiful.

''who's the new guy ?"She asked, her eyes not leaving the paperwork sprawled over the table.

"This is Wyatt and he does crimes" She responded as if she had known him all her life. Wyatt on the other hand resisted the urge to break her ribs and settled for the simple astonishment at her conclusion that he was a criminal.

The woman sighed " I quit" she muttered. Charlie turned to me" She loves us" He rolled his eyes ever  so slightly that he wasn't sure how Vivian caught it. For a brief moment, He saw a small smirk forming but just as quickly it disappeared.
