I Finally Pull into the university's parking lot thrilled that everyone seems to be already safely tucked away in the building probably just sitting in their seats ready for today's lesson. Since I took so long to pull out of our driveway this morning. I ended up 5-7 mins late and I still had to stop by my locker and grab my books for first and second period.
I turn the car off and reach for my bookbag and Stanley cup full of coffee with a dash or two of tequila. I'm normally not much of a drinker but figured today would be a long day so I mine as well be a little buzzed for it right ?

I look around as I step out of the car , a few other late comers are strolling through the greenery on their way inside the building. As I make my way to the huge steps that leads to the two thick double doors. I hear my name being called as I get halfway up the steps being skeptical. I glance around only for my eyes to land on tall , dark , and Italian.

I can't lie that at first I was kinda excited to see him but as we stare at each other once again. The memories of last night fills my mind. All my progress of forgetting is out the window as all the memories comes crashing back into my mind.

••| " Can We Please talk for a minute"? Giovanni asks me
I can't believe him , coming up to my school the next day. Knowing he was dead wrong for not tellingq me if he had a girlfriend or not. We've talked a lot last night and he not once mentioned he wasn't single.

••| " Nope " I say.
As his face turns sour I quickly say " you'll be Ard".

Then turn on my heels headed for the doors once again.
Only this time he's not asking to speak with me he's determined to speak to me. He reached me and quickly placed his hands on my arms
pulling at my them , dragging us of to the side of  the building .
I couldn't believe how fast he's made it to the steps , he must've ran track professionally or something l. I began to think as I'm getting pulled away.
We turn and he immediately he lets go of me.

I stare at him dumbly. I thought to myself , well I guess we'll be having this chat then😈.
I waited for him to begin because I wanted to see him struggle to find the right words.

••| " I'm sorry I just had to see you one more time.
I owe you an explanation" he says looking me right in my eyes.

I look away immediately I can't believe him ,
He's not bout to flirt or smooth talk his way out of this. I take a few steps back.

••| " there's no need to waste your breath , matter of fact why did you even come here " I question him

••| " shit I realize how that sounded , I'm not trying to woo you, wanted to apologize to you in person about last night . I tried to stop you to explain but you left in a hurry" .

••| " Wouldn't you have left Also" ?
I didn't give him a chance to reply before I continued.
" you meet this awesome person , I smile.
Who you really start to actually like like.
I pause
••|" just to find out their a snake in the grass". I say in a broad tone

••| " That's not fair , I didn't even mean to sneak you out if that's what you think" he says

••| "what should I think ?" I question him

••| " well I don't want to tell you what to think , but I do want you to hear what I have to say" he says , I don't Reply & I guess he gets the hint that I'm waiting for his next words.
