We pull up to JJ's house automatically hearing gunshots, which turned my anger into worry.
"You think that's Luke?" I ask
"No, he's out of town" Pope tells me and I nod, the worrying partly going away.
"I can't believe y'all fucking sunk his boat" I say half laughing but half trying to figure out what the hell they were thinking
"Me either but pulling that plug felt fucking amazing" Pope said making me face palm myself shaking my head, before opening my door.
We walk around back to find JJ shooting at a teddy bear. He had earplugs on so of course he didn't hear us pull up. I watch, waiting for a good time to walk up to him, and when he pulls the clip out, I walk up and touch his arm making him jump and turn towards me quickly.
"OH- hey Blake, umm what are you doing here?" He asked me
"Well social worker took John B, tried to take me too, I got away, hoping John B did too..." I started
"Wait what? What happened??" He asked cutting me off as I hold a finger up telling him to wait
"So I drove to Heywards, found Pope, and then guess what I seen, wanna take a guess?" I ask and he he's looking at me and back at Pope, not being able to tell what I'm thinking..
"Topper Thornton and Rafe Cameron" I say for him and his whole demeanor changes
"Did he hurt you??" He asks me
"No" I say
"They were mad dogging me" Pope cut in giving JJ a look making him glance over at me.
"That's strange, wonder why they would be doing that?" JJ said looking at me and back to Pope and I immediately started laughing and crossing my arms looking at him with a cocked eyebrow "what?" He asked me
"She knows JJ, and pretty sure Topper and Rafe know what I did" Pope said as JJ raised his eyebrows as if he wasn't sure what to do.
"Oh.." he says
"Yeah, what the hell were y'all thinking" i asked
"Why do you think they know?" He asked Pope
"The way they were looking at me, they know something" he said
"Deny deny deny Pope, remember" JJ told him making me face palm myself
"I know, deny everything, but still" Pope said
"Enough with the regret, they caved your face in, nearly killed Blake, they deserve everything coming their way and we all know that, so all three of us, deny deny deny" JJ argues looking between us
"is there any way that they have proof?" I ask
"No, everything was down, no generators or anything then" JJ says, "now what about John B?" He asks
"When we got back to the house, social worker and a deputy was waiting on apparently both of us, John B distracted them so I could get out, I'm not sure where he is now..." I explain
"Don't worry, he'll be okay, he always is, ain't no way he's gonna let him get too far away from here" JJ says and I nod
"Yeah, do y'all think going back to the Chateau tonight would be okay?" I ask
"Hell no, especially if John B got away, probably not a good idea for a few days" JJ says
"Great..." I mumble
"You can crash here, my dad is gonna be gone for a few more days" JJ tells me rubbing the back of his neck
"Thank you.." I say
