Happy Doodle Birthday To Me

Player wakes up from the depths of their sleeping bag and look around. None of their friends were in the tent, all there was inside it were wrinkly sleeping bags and a cooler for food and beverages. They shrug and get up to go get breakfast ready. Their friends are probably out in the forest Doodle Battling or something.

It was still weird that they were invited to camp with their friends and just be left in the woods.

Player shrugs and thinks of something else. They remember seeing a new bakery while strolling around the nearby town. They look in their bag and see some leftover money.

(Bread for breakfast sounds nice…)

They quickly get ready and take their bag. Still, they can't think of a single reason on why their friends would leave so early…

Meanwhile…
“All right everyone! That's the last thing we need!... At least I think it is”
Suzie looks back at the list. She HAS to make sure everything will go the way they planned.

“Ugh… We checked like a million times already! Let's just pay for the stuff and go…”
Quincy says while wiping the sweat off his forehead. Him, Suzie and TJ have spent the whole day in the mall, looking to buy many birthday-related things.

“We haven't checked the whole time we were here… Anyways, TJ! Checklist!”

“Aye aye! Gift?”

“check.”
Quincy mumbles

“Decorations?”

“Check!”
Suzie exclames

“Balloons… Party Hats… Game stuff…”
“Triple check! “ Suzie excitedly shouts
“And.. Cake! Do we have the (fav flavor) cake?”

“We…”
Susie's smile fades as she looks all over the cart… They got everything except the cake… oops.

“Oh yeah… Uhm. We may or may not have forgotten to make a quick stop to the bakery…”
Suzie sheepishly said as she scratched the back of her neck.

Quincy’s eye twitches a bit. They already spent hours in the store but he was glad that they were able to go somewhere else.

“It's fine… I’m sure we can make a quick stop to the bakery. Hey, I saw a new bakery downtown, Player’s always about trying new things right? Let's go there.”

Suzie nods and quickly goes to the cashier to pay for the things. Luckily, the line was short.

They then leave and go to the bakery. Of course TJ and Suzie left Quincy with the job to carry the bags.

“Yes I would like this whole 1 tier (fav flavor) cake please. Uh… to go”
Suzie says to the Cashier.

“Alright. Quincy, gimme your card.”

“Which one?”

“Any will do”

“Here”
Quincy hands his card to Suzie. After that, he looks around but then his eyes widen when he sees a special someone.

“Hey uh… guys?” Quincy looks back while hiding his face with his hand

“Yeah bro?” TJ asks. Quincy then points to the Player at the end of the line

“Ohhhh my Louis… Hey! Hey Suzie.”

“What's up TJ?”
Suzie looks at what Quincy was pointing at. Her smile fades and her eyes widen as her heart beats just even faster.

“Oh no… The surprise is going to be ruined…!”
Suzie looks back at the cashier.

“Hey uh… Can we like hurry up a bit please? No? Oh… Okay.”
