the day

it's been 3 months, and it was the day of the truth, the assembly had come to announce who would go to L.A, apparently only 1  got in

"before finishing this wonderful assembly at the end of the year I want to announce the only one who will attend this new adventure !! please stand up and come *the principal starts calling  KATHERYHN ZAZUETA! please come, darling". Katie's mind couldn't believe it, she was going to be free, she was finally going to be free.

she got home no one was there but the bus that was going to pick her up and leave her at the airport was going to be there at 4 pm and it was already 1 pm, she got ready, no one was there, as the time came her family hadn't arrived, so she decided to write a letter saying goodbye to every one of the family, the bus finally arrived and she had to leave.

"It's everything,

"yes sir, thank you so much," said and went to the bus

as she was listening to music with her old iPod, she never liked phones, she used to think it was a waste of time and also that her mother didn't let her have a phone, as they arrived at the airport, the only thing she could feel was nervous about flying to L.A. She finally arrived at the plane and fell asleep

Katie woke up with wide eyes open, wondering why the dream felt so real, she could remember the woman, a blond woman, with a smile and green eyes you can't forget, she swore that she had seen her somewhere and not only in her dreams but with the sleep she had no idea and fells asleep again

she finally arrived in Los Angeles, and the lady at the airport told her where to go, she grabbed her backpack and suitcase and then went to another bus where she was directed to the school was so big, it was an open school, the principal makes her a tour with other exchange students of first year in the school she went to her room where she will share the room with 2 girls.  The room was so big and was a bed empty, she put her things on the bed and started to make her bed, but clothes in the closet, etc, After two hours of work the girls of the room came in.

"Hey, you are the exchange student right?"
"Yes, I'm Katie Zazueta "
"Hi Katie, I'm Xochitl Gomez"
"I'm McKenna Grace"
"Your names are so pretty!"
"Thank you, where you come from"
"Mexico"
"I have family there!" Replied Xochitl
"That's nice, um you guys aren't in school break?"
"Yes, but out parents are in New York, and besides we can meet great people like you"
