L. was an ordinary human, living a normal life until the age of 17. A tragic event that year shattered his sanity, leading to schizophrenia and dissociative identity disorder.
This condition split his personality into two distinct entities: "UKA," also known as "RY!UKA," and "luu."RY!UKA (with "RY" standing for "Ryzhy," meaning dark red) embodies all of L.'s negative, diabolical, and evil traits, manifesting as a dark red, devilish persona. Conversely, luu is a kind-hearted, sorrowful, and neglected boy who never gets what he wants and harbors suicidal tendencies. Both personalities struggle with substance abuse. For two years, RY!UKA dominated, causing L.'s body to commit crimes and grow increasingly fragile, hunted, and on the brink of destruction.
During this time, a demon named "Cxpy" encountered RY!UKA in a liminal space and expelled him from L., taking over instead. Cxpy banished the dormant side of "luu," merging it with the demon to create "pink luu" - a hybrid of the schizoid "luu" and the demonic "Cxpy" - also recognizable through the split eyecolors of green and brown. This transformation led L. to dye his hair pink, embarking on a path as a depressed pop icon.
So pink luu gained fame and power in the scene, becoming well-known, though his true identity remained a mystery. Following an undisclosed incident, L. was hospitalized and administered strong antipsychotic medication. This treatment caused a split, resulting in two separate bodies: one resembling pink luu with pink hair, and the other looking like L. used to, with long, wavy blonde hair.
This new persona called himself "luu". He managed to escape, keeping the supernatural cloning a secret. He found refuge with a family who had posted a missing person notice for their son, who bore a striking resemblance to luu. Convincing them he was their son, he started living with them. Meanwhile, pink luu continued his clinical treatment and, upon release, resumed his pop lifestyle.
Luu began to question his identity and, through meditation, unlocked RY!UKA's memories within him. This led to a new form of schizophrenia, now with only two personalities: luu and RY!UKA.
Here we are, the resurrection of RY!UKA "chained in hell" releases June 28th on every streaming platform, which shows off a conversation between both characters.
