The helicopter dropped the teams in a really cold area. That was enough for Madison to be restless, to say the least. As soon as the creatures got released, Tim and her ran towards the safest place possible. They got on the wrecked ship. It was somewhat warm due to the fire coming out of the chimney. -Well, we have some minutes, I guess..- Tim mutters. She nods, slowly turning to the side, noticing a man saluting her. Tim noticed she got startled with that, somewhat moved.

The minutes Tim had mentioned actually turned into seconds. The creatures reached the ship first. The wingstingers ran up the whole wreck and ripped the chimneys open. Both Tim and Maddie tried to jump off the ship, but before they could even react, a claw reached Madison's chest, ripping a part of her vest and shirt and also a deep part of her skin, causing her to spin and fall. Tim picked her up immediately, running to somewhere he could jump off the ship with someone in his arms. With that, he ran to a small metal house far from the whole fuss. He laid her and held the cut with his hands, pressing it. Some hours passed, nothing happened besides Madison being completely desperate to help people and Tim screaming at her to shut up or to stay put.

The girl was stubborn, when Tim looked away, she ran off of the small shack they were in, and ran directly to an injured man laid on his stomach. She turned him around, ignoring the pain of her own cut. Tim noticed that, and ran after her, pulling her away from the man by her arm. -Madison we need to stay inside, you're injured!- -So is he!- He rolled his eyes -Why do you care?!- -BECAUSE!- She screamed, getting her arm loose from his grip, helping the injured man to get up by placing his arm around her neck, taking him to where her and Tim had set camp.

She sat him with his back facing her. He was so injured he had fainted. Madison grabbed a medic kit and took out a needle and line, starting to sew the injury. Tim was sitting on a corner with an annoyed face, she stared at the girl with a frown, his eyes piercing both like daggers. -Can you stop staring?- she said, breaking the silence. He stared at her, wondering if he was actually meant to answer something or just keep quiet, and he wasn't in the mood to say anything or even look at both so he just looked down, then at a small can of beans disposed next to him. Unlike him, she was determined to speak, at least understand why he was so upset or even angry at her trying to save people. -I just don't get it, you were from the army, you learnt how to save people, you knew it was right, why... not doing it here?- -Because- he mutters -Tim, come on, if we are pairing up, I need to see if you'd actually save me or leave me to die!- -It's– different... Listen, I already saved you back there, didn't I?- -Then why didn't you want me to save him?- she asked, cutting the line for the last stitch. -I... don't know, really, I was impulsive..- she sighs, leaving the man to rest, standing, watching the monsters from the window.

She watched the massacre carefully. -So... come here..- she mutters, calling the guy. He stood beside her -What?- she pointed to the chimneys. -Remember how the monsters ran to the ship and ripped the chimneys open? Those chimneys were on fire, maybe those monsters have infra-red vision, maybe they get attracted by heat. I know they have no eyes, they have a skull in front of their face, no eyes at all. Maybe they follow the heat. Maybe we could....--- -Generate a bigger source of heat?- she nods -Well, I'll do it, you stay here- -Tim, no.-

She got up, already heading down on the snow, trying to convince Tim that she was going either he wanted or not. -Look, those gasoline gallons over there, they're all full. We could make a trail with one of them, so they all blow up and catch fire..- she started -I'll open one- he said, grabbing a knife and poking a hole in a big gallon, picking it up and making a big trail. Then, she lit the trail on fire, and all of the gallons blew up. Tim, of course, started to run, but Maddie was frozen, her joints wouldn't move, she walked slowly. The monsters approached them, and Tim ran further, then noticed she was moving slowly and ran to her, picking her up once more and placing her beside the man she had previously helped.

-Oh Madison, I told you to stay inside!- he grumbles, picking the needle and line. -Nah, you'd miss me.- she chuckled, groaning as she felt the needle piercing the flesh of her. Due to the pain, she slapped the man's shoulder -Sorry, I didn't warn you, did it fucking hurt, princess pink cheeks?- -Just keep going- she exhales, breathing heavily at every stitch, even hissing sometimes. He chuckled at every single time she hitched. -Done princess pink cheeks- -Shut the hell up, pommy-
