As the sounds of gunfire echoed outside, Tin quickly detonated all the planted bombs in the area to create chaos and allow the backup team to advance. He immediately searched for Elaine and found her with the mastermind behind everything—Ken, a notorious criminal supplying terrorists.
Ken threw a box in front of Tin and said, "You'll like my gift."
When Tin opened it, he saw two pairs of eyeballs. He looked at Ken in shock.
"What did you do?" Tin demanded.
Ken smirked. "Nothing much. I just thought you'd appreciate it. Guess not."
Enraged, Tin charged at Ken’s men downstairs, attacking them ferociously to distract them while Ken made his escape. Despite getting slashed, Tin didn't stop, stabbing anyone in his way without mercy. He brutally slashed at their legs and other body parts, creating a bloodbath. When the backup team arrived, they found Tin drenched in blood, holding the severed head of one of Ken's men, which he threw to the ground.
Tin quickly performed parkour to reach the second floor, breaking down the door to the terrace. There, he saw Ken dragging Elaine toward a helicopter. Without hesitation, Tin ran and leaped, grabbing onto the helicopter's landing gear. He grabbed the leg of one of Ken's men in the helicopter and punched Ken hard. Tin then shot the pilot, having previously sabotaged the helicopter to prevent their escape. He grabbed Elaine and jumped, crashing through a glass window. Tin had thrown his dagger beforehand to ensure they had a way in, preventing them from sliding off.
Tin pulled Elaine to a corner just as the helicopter exploded. Seeing that Ken was still alive, Tin grabbed the remote detonator for a bomb he had placed under the helicopter. Before pressing it, he and Elaine jumped into a pool below. Tin positioned himself to cushion Elaine's fall, as she had no experience with such stunts. They crashed into the water, and Tin immediately pulled Elaine up, helping her out of the pool. He looked up at the burning building, a testament to the chaos.
In the ambulance, surrounded by reporters, Tin was treated for his injuries. His team arrived and escorted him and Elaine to a helicopter for safety. As they flew, Tin gazed out at the aftermath of the battle, clutching a piece of paper. Ken’s words echoed in his mind: "I might not get my revenge, but someone you trust will."
While fighting Ken, Tin had seen a badge—a badge he had commissioned for his own team, now in the hands of a traitor. Tin realized the traitor was Benjamin, someone he trusted deeply. Clenching the badge tightly, blood dripped from his hand as tears welled up in his eyes. Exhausted, he fell asleep.
Upon landing, they were swarmed by reporters. Tin's father quickly embraced him.
"Dad, I'm sorry. I trusted too easily," Tin confessed.
Understanding his son's pain, Tin's father covered him with a cap and led him away from the crowd, protecting him from the press.
At headquarters, Tin faced the officials.
"I learned from Jovie that Benjamin has been supplying the terrorists and making bombs," Tin revealed, presenting evidence. "Give me the order, and I'll bring him in myself. I was his acting captain."
One official shook his head. "You just returned and are still injured. I can't give you that order. I'm sorry."
Another official agreed. "Captain Tin, you need to recover and plan your next move carefully."
Before Tin could argue, his father intervened. "Go home, son. I'll handle this."
Saluting his father, Tin left and rode his motorcycle home. When he arrived, he saw Naret and Bella. Overwhelmed, he ran, abandoning his motorcycle. He scooped Bella up with tears in his eyes. Naret embraced him, and Tin kissed both of them on the forehead, repeatedly apologizing and promising never to leave again. He hugged them tightly, finding solace in their arms.
