Chapter 5

"Eh, why are you all here?" Tomiyama tilted his head.

You saw several people walking into the school with the same yellow jackets on.

"A raid all on your own ain't gonna work out, you know?" The black haired, braided boy with glasses spoke up to Tomiyama. His voice sending you chills down your spine.

"Don't I always tell you to properly listen to me..oh othello-kun, been a minute." He said as he lazily waved his hand.

"Sup, shaggy hair." Sakura replied back to him.

"Oh man, I'm about to piss on my pants this is so scary." You thought as you awkwardly stood behind the whole scene.

The white haired saw his juniors beside him and frowned slightly. "Hey, I told you not to-"

"I won't get in the way of your duel. But I'm not gonna watch in silence when you're being surrounded like this!" Sakura said as the taller boy huffed out through his nose.

"Hey, we were going to fight it out, so step back all of you!" Tomiyama stomped his feet and threw a tantrum.

"I mean, going face to face would be too difficult right? Look around you." The shaggy haired boy said as he pointed towards the school building.

When you looked behind to check out what he meant, you tensed upon seeing so many students in black and green uniform staring at the chaos with bloodlust in their eyes.

The white haired turned back to face Tomiyama and stated. "I'll accept your duel so have those guys behind you step down."

"Welcome to Café Pothos." You heard a female voice as you entered the cafe.

"Oh it's just you guys." A brown haired employee said as she watched the group enter the cafe.

"I see two new faces. Did something happen?" She questioned the group as she placed her cheeks on her right palm.

As you and the group were about to settle down, the brown haired girl approached the table with excitement in her eyes.

"You're Y/N from Josei High right? The one who's in the dance team!" She exclaimed as you nodded and smiled at her.

"It's a pleasure to meet you! I am Kotoha!" She said as she stuck out her hand to greet you.

"Nice to meet you too Kotoha, hope we can be closer." You said as you smiled warmly at her.

When Kotoha looked around the table, she saw confused faces looking right back at her.

"So? Why is she and that boy here?" She questioned the group of boys.

Nirei started explaining to her what had happened at the school and how you and the boy had gotten involved in it.

"It's a relief you're okay Y/N." She said to you with a worried expression. "You guys want anything? I think Umemiya is gonna be quite late."

"Kotoha! Ah! Your hairstyle today is as cute as always! It looks great!" You heard a familiar voice entering the cafe so you turned around to see who it was.

Your eyes widened a little as you had recognised that white dyed hair. He whipped out his phone and started to show Kotoha some plants he had harvested.

"About those vegetables I told you about, look how much they're growing! I'll bring you some during the summer!" He smiled gleefully.

"Oh are they a thing? They do look cute together." You thought.

"I'm looking forward to it." Kotoha replied back in a monotone voice.

"The heck am I looking at.." The duo haired boy spoke up.

"Clearly, he's quite interested, don't you think?" Suo stated. You and Sakura turned your heads to him. As you gave him an amused look while Sakura's pale face turned into a deeper shade of red.

"W-WHAT!? SO YOU'RE HIS GIRLFRIEND!?" Sakura shouted, out of embarrassment as he lifted his shaky hands to drink water.

"Like hell she's my girlfriend! She's my little sister!" The white haired said as he stretched out his two hands to present his 'sister'.

"I really thought they were more than siblings."

"Wrong again! We were raised in the same facility, the rest is just Ume deciding on his own."

The room's atmosphere suddenly changed when she said that. You felt her demeanour suddenly change.

"What? That's all?" Sakura said as he ruffled his hair.

You did not hear the rest of the conversation they were having as you were starting to doze off but you were disturbed by a loud crash you heard. You woke up startled as you looked around to see what the commotion about.

You saw a broken chair at the other side of the cafe. You thought you were still dreaming but as you rubbed your eyes to see better, indeed there was a broken chair that was thrown across.

As the bickering was still happening, you could not help but feel out of place.Suo had noticed your sudden change of behaviour and grabbed your hand lightly under the table.

"Hey you okay?" He asked as he tilted his head, his earrings moving a little. Your cheeks were slightly flushed as you were taken aback by his actions.

Unable to talk, you nodded at him and looked away. Just to be greeted by the white haired boy, supposedly named Ume looking at you.

"Hey I'm just speculating but are you and Suo dating?" He asked, uncertainty lacing his voice as he raised his eyebrows and crossed his arms.
