"I think you're forgetting something, Kim… You have another child too, who is the rightful owner of this business."

Kim rose from the bed, his voice heavy with frustration. "The one who's not even serious about life—wasting his youth??"

Lina stood up too, her expression cold.
"Whatever he is, he's still your son. And I'm not letting Bella take his place."

With that, she stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind her.

Kim let out a long, weary sigh. He sat back on the edge of the bed, rubbing his temples. After a moment, he picked up his phone and dialed Jeon's number.

After a few rings, Jeon answered cheerfully. "Hey Kim, what’s up?"

"I need to meet you." Kim said, his tone serious. "Can you come to the coffee shop near my house?"

"Is everything alright?"

"I'll explain when we meet."

"Alright, I'll be there in ten minutes."

Kim ended the call, put on his coat, and left the house.

At the Coffee Shop,

Kim sat at a corner table, anxiously glancing at the door every few seconds. Minutes later, Jeon walked in and spotted him.

"You made me worried, Kim," Jeon said, sitting down. "Now tell me—what happened?"

Kim took a deep breath, steadying himself. "Jeon… I think the time has come."

Jeon raised an eyebrow. "What time?"

Kim leaned forward, placing both hands on the table. "Bella is back now. She's completed her graduation. And I think it's time she gets married."

Jeon's face softened, understanding dawning in his eyes. "I see… Jungkook has been a mess since his mom passed. He's closed himself off. I've always believed love could be the only thing to bring him back."

Kim nodded, placing his hand over Jeon's. "Then talk to him. I want the wedding to happen soon."

Jeon nodded then said, "But have you asked Bella? Her opinion is what matters the most in this."

Kim leaned back in his chair, a confident smile playing on his lips. "Don't worry about her. She'll do as I say."

Jeon's expression turned serious. "Kim… I don't want this to be a forced relationship. I want their approval. Especially Bella's. She may be your daughter, but she's like a daughter to me too."

Kim softened slightly, nodding. "I understand. I know her answer will be yes… but I'll speak to her."

Jeon nodded as well. "Okay, I'll talk to Jungkook then."

They both smiled, and ordered the drinks for them.

Jeon returned home after the meeting with Kim. Without wasting time, he went straight to Jungkook's room.

He knocked on the door.

"Come in." came Jungkook's voice from inside.

Jeon stepped in. Jungkook immediately stood up from the bed.

"Dad, if you needed something, you could've just called me. Why did you come all the way here?"

Jungkook's POV

Dad gave me a gentle smile and walked over to the bed, gesturing for me to sit. I obeyed, though I was already sensing something serious.

He held my hands and looked at me with calm eyes. "There's something I need to talk to you about, son."
