"It's my favorite scent from now on, my dear…"
Bella inhaled deeply, her eyes fluttering shut as the warmth of his breath lingered on her skin.
A single name slipped from her lips in a whisper. "Jungkook."
His voice answered with quiet intensity, mirroring her emotion. "Yes, my dear heaven."
Just then, a sudden knock at the door shattered the moment. Bella's eyes flew open. Jungkook's arms slowly loosened around her. Startled, she quickly stepped back and gave his arm a shake before moving to the door. Behind her, Jungkook chuckled softly, licking his lips as if savoring the moment that had just passed.
Bella stood still for a second, composing herself with a deep breath. Then she opened the door.
A maid stood outside with a polite bow.
"Ma'am, breakfast is served. Jeon and Jimin are waiting for you both at the dining table."Bella gave a soft hum of acknowledgment, and the maid turned to leave.
She closed the door slightly behind her, then glanced over her shoulder. "They're waiting. I'm heading down."
Without waiting for his reply, she slipped through the doorway and disappeared down the hall, leaving the scent of her presence lingering in the air. Jungkook chuckled again, watching the door close with a crooked smile.
He slipped his hands casually into his pants pockets, and murmured to himself, "I'll give you a thousand reasons to love me, my dear heaven… Just wait and watch."
Then, with a spark in his eyes, he followed her out.
Bella was descending the staircase when Jungkook suddenly appeared behind her. Without a word, he reached forward and gently caught her wrist, halting her in place. She turned to face him, her brows slightly furrowed. But Jungkook only lifted his eyebrows with an exaggerated expression of mock offense and stepped closer.
"You should be walking to the dining table with your husband, my dear wife," he said, voice smooth, eyes gleaming with mischief. "It's highly inappropriate that you're going alone, without your beloved husband."
Bella swallowed hard and looked away, whispering quickly, "Jungkook, let go of my hand. There are workers around."
"So?" he replied coolly, not loosening his grip.
Bella exhaled sharply and pushed him back. "So be in your limits, my beloved husband." she said with a tight smile.
Without giving him another glance, she walked off. Jungkook stood behind, chuckling as he watched her go.
"Ah, you're something else, heaven…" he murmured to himself, licking his lips before casually following her downstairs.
They both entered the dining room, greeting Jimin and Jeon politely as they took their seats.
"Bella, did you sleep well in the new place?" Jeon asked warmly.
Bella offered a soft smile. "I slept well, Uncle. Thank you."
"I had the maid prepare a variety of dishes," he continued. "I wasn't sure what you like for breakfast."
"Aww, Uncle, don't worry. I'm not picky about food." she replied kindly.
Jeon smiled, pleased, and they all began eating.
As Bella focused on her meal, Jungkook leaned in slightly, quietly pouring coffee into her cup. She glanced at him.
"Look, your beloved husband is pouring coffee for you," he whispered with a teasing smirk, pushing the cup toward her. "Drink it, my dear wife."
Bella maintained a straight face, but before she could reply, Jeon noticed.
