Long before tensions between the Major and Minor Families reached a boiling point, Macau and I had already forged a profound connection, one that deepened significantly amidst the brewing conflict. When my father appointed P' Kinn to lead the Major Family and entrusted Vegas with the Minor Family, it marked a pivotal moment. Initially viewed as adversaries, P' Kinn and Vegas were compelled to collaborate, a process facilitated by the unwavering support of P' Porsche and Pete.

As they navigated the complexities of their new roles, P' Kinn and Vegas discovered a shared purpose that transcended their initial differences. This shared journey not only solidified their partnership but also cultivated a bond of friendship and mutual trust that surpassed all others within their respective families.

I finally earned Chay's forgiveness for everything I had done while investigating P' Porsche and him. Now, we were great friends and spent a lot of time together. However, when Chay and Macau met each other, they instantly became best friends, bonding over shared interests and spending even more time together than with me. This stirred up a deep jealousy within me because I longed to spend more time with Macau.

Macau had always been the center of my world, and my feelings for him ran deep. Seeing him and Chay growing closer made me anxious. I couldn't help but worry that their bond might evolve into something more than friendship.

For years, I struggled to conceal my deep feelings for Macau, but somehow, P' Tankhun, P' Kinn, and my father discovered the truth. When they confronted me about it, I reluctantly admitted my feelings. At first, their silence made my heart sink, convincing me that they were repulsed by my love for Macau. However, to my astonishment, they expressed unwavering support and even offered to help me confess to him.

They encouraged me to be honest with Macau, insisting that I should share my feelings. Despite their support, I repeatedly refused. The fear that Macau might not reciprocate my feelings paralyzed me. I was terrified that revealing my love would not only disgust him but also burden him, complicating our relationship in ways I couldn't bear. The thought of creating an uncomfortable distance between us was unbearable. I cherished our bond too much to risk losing it, even if it meant suppressing my true emotions indefinitely.

As I immersed myself in thoughts in my studio, my phone beeped. I picked it up from the nearby table and saw a message from P' Tankhun: "Tonight, we're having a family dinner with everyone—Vegas, Pete, Macau, and Venice will be here. You should come too, little brother." The thought of seeing Macau and spending time with him made me smile. Just as I was about to reply to P' Tankhun, another message came through: "Isn't it exciting? You'll get to spend time with Macau, whom you love."

I sighed at his teasing but couldn't help smiling. I messaged him back: "I will join everyone for dinner. What time should I come?" Within a minute, P' Tankhun replied: "Dinner is scheduled for 19:30, but Vegas, Pete, Macau, and Venice will be arriving at 18:00. You should aim to arrive around 17:40 to ensure you have plenty of time to catch up with Macau." At times, my brothers were overly supportive, with P' Tankhun particularly enjoying his fair share of teasing.

I messaged P' Tankhun again: "I'll arrive by 17:40." He replied quickly: "Alright, see you soon, little brother." I slipped my phone into my jeans pocket and decided to head back to my penthouse to get ready for the dinner.

I was in the playroom with Venice when P' Pete walked in. The moment Venice saw his Pa, he ran towards him and hugged P' Pete's legs. P' Pete smiled and promptly lifted Venice up, planting a kiss on his cheek, which elicited joyful giggles from Venice—it was truly heartwarming.
