I sigh, I am honestly so done with these people, so loud and obnoxious. People are laughing, yelling, making fun of the teacher(well I meannn.. his hairline is kinda receding haha), and scrolling on their phones through tiktok.
I'm in my second class, the class I obviously don't have any friends in, if I did I'd probably be talking my head off right now or at least be doing something for once in this class.
Honestly, a few of these kids in here are quite weird, one sit's in the corner drawing anime characters. I gotta admit the drawings are good, but whenever the girl sees me she like freaking hisses at me, she's a weirdo to be honest, in the worst way.
The bell rings for 3rd class, finally a class I can actually socialize in without being surrounded with people who are too loud. I put my laptop and a few other things I took out into my backpack, and zip it up, putting it on before walking out of the room to my next class, history.
In my history class, my whole entire friend group is there. It consists of myself(Yvonne, nn: Yvie), Lillian(nn: Lilly), Zara(nn: Zee), Jaylie(nn: Jelly), Xavier(nn: Xave), Caden(nn: Cade), Alexander(nn: Alex), and finally Jayden(nn: JJ).
I make it into history class and just a few seconds later, the bell rings. Thank god I made it, because there was going to be a tardy sweep today. Lillian see's me and runs over to me, "HUBBYYYY!!" She smiles. I don't know why she and a few other friends of mine call me hubby, whenever I ask all they say is 'it's just because your husband material, it's just.. you.' I mean I'm honored but I'm still confused.
I chuckle, and pat her back. "Hey Lilly," I grin, she smiles. "Hey Yvie~" She smirks, she's such a flirt. Lillian jumps up and down excitedly, "Have you listened to the song 'Saturn' By SZA!?" She audibly gasps, her eyes sparkling. I smile, "UHM OF COURSEEE!!! I have it downloaded on my phone actually!" I take my phone out of my pocket, entering my passcode and going in my downloads, searching up mp3 and scrolling down for the song, tapping it and pausing it before showing her. "Good, good. Cause I was bouta' say-" She starts, and Zara grabs our arms and drags us to a table, pointing a finger at us after she lets us go. "You can't just be yellin' in front of the class now, aight'?" She raises an eyebrow, we only snicker. "Yeah yeahhhh~ mOthER." Lillian rolls her eyes playfully. Zara's always been the type of person who scolds the group, for weird reasons, either not putting a piece of trash in the right bin, not turning in our homework, or doing whatever else, she'll scold us. But we all know she has a soft spot for us in her lil' heart~ hehe.
Jaylie clears her throat, catching our attention. She swirls a lollipop around in her mouth, before leaving a pop sound when she takes it out of her mouth.
"Hey now don't forget I'm here." She huffs, popping the lolli back in her mouth, crossing her arms, her brows furrowed. Zara rolls her eyes, "Mhm mhm, go on, I'd love to hear your complaining~" Jaylie scoffs, "Hey now! Weren't you just scolding Yvie and Lilly, so like first off-" She glares at Zara.
Me and Lillian watch in amusement as they argue, well not really argue, it's more like play fighting. A bell rings, signalling it's break time. Me and Lillian rush out of the classroom, down the hall to the main staircase. We start walking once we get to the first floor. "So have you heard about that new rumor..? This kid named Kaiser disappeared out of nowhere- it's quite concerning, actually.." Lillian lowers her volume, looking at me as we walk.
"Mmm yes.. I've heard, but like- maybe he just hasn't been at school, and he just left in the middle of the day-, I don't think he could have possibly vanished, that's absurd honestly." I shrug it off. "Yvie, he's gone missing." She glares. "Well you should of told me sooner! I was only guessing.." I trail off, crossing my arms, huffing. She rolls her eyes, "Anyways, he's been gone for like.. 4 days, I mean, he's not the stupid type of person either to get kidnapped. He's quite heavy-set as well, so no one could have knocked him out unless they were LITERALLY the hulk."
"Eh.. you got a point there, though I've never seen the dude so I don't know what he's like or what his appearance is." I shrug. She nods, "Well, considering you, being the boxed in type of person, I guess you've never met em'."
In the cafeteria, me and Lillian get our lunch and go out in the courtyard, sitting down at a table with a few other people, who're discussing the next football game coming up. Our high-school Wayside is going up against Oakwood high school, and Oakwood high school is good, so we'll probably lose, but at least be optimistic about it.
Lillian and I listen in, exchanging a few words here and there but mostly listening to the others. The guys are discussing practice dates now, as well as strategies to win the game. It's honestly quite interesting, but Lillian seems to be getting a bit restless.
We continue eating our food before throwing our styrofoam trays with our containers and our empty carton of milk away in the nearest trash can.
