The Beginning - The lives which we live in
IN the land of the underworld...it always seemed emptier than it actually was. Sometimes, the skeleton warriors would go to the surface to avoid Garmadon and his daughter. Nobody seemed to enjoy listening to them, however, they only stuck around because they knew that Garmadon's daughter would make their somewhat immortal skeletal lives a hell of pain.
Yet...when the skeleton warriors were given those moments of freedom from the underworld, they left racing in the realm of Ninjago. The two Garmadons were left...pondering. Garmadon sat at his throne and tried to decode the maps that had been burned, and had gotten snippets of. He barely ever trained, or raised a sword anymore. All he wanted was to get those weapons, to get out of this god forsaken realm that his younger brother had (unintentionally) put him in.
Garmadon's daughter, however, seemed to thrive in the dark realm she was in, unknowing that the next realm that she would be sent to would be even darker, feeding her powers every day. Amy was her name. And She was the elemental master of Darkness. In result, her own blood was modified for the power she held in her hands. That way, she couldn't die, or feel anything to lose control over her powers that were already so dark and powerful for her.
Maybe that's why her mother never picked her up as a baby. Because she knew that Amy had potential to become something bad. Like how she could sense that her little brother had the potential to be something good...If only Amy knew what that good thing was...or, if only Amy knew anything about good or bad.
All she knew was how to fight- to take down armies all at once and manipulate the very insides of someone's body by using the darkness inside of them to break her enemies arms without even stepping close to them.
But...as it was said before, the underworld...it was empty. It was cave-like in the underworld of Ninjago. It was always cold, and it almost seemed wet...when lava pooled through the rivers occasionally from the surface world. Amy wished that she could swim through lava. But her father would shut down the idea as he would express his feeling that despite her immortal and painless life, he didn't want to dare think of the idea that his daughter might be at the bottom of a lava lake, there to sit for eternity.
Amy knew it wouldn't happen, but she understood that distress was in fact a negative emotion, one that made her fathers heart rate go up and made him cry. And what her mother always tried to teach her- crying was a negative emotion.
And...well, like normal, there hadn't been any activity. So Amy continued to sit in one of the corners of the cave, and Garmadon sat at his underworld throne to analyze his brother's plans, as they had been doing for nearly 9 years at this point.
