/// Now playing: Refreshing Smile - Chamber Chu ///

Upon her body being violently slammed into the trunk of the tree –the other body (who was surprisingly heavier than initially thought) crashing against hers, crushing whatever stuff was in her rucksack in-turn– Lea felt as though she was the epitome of the word 'winded'.

If this were an anime –which, now that she thought about it, might be true– then she'd have the classic anime eye-swirls (you know the ones) that signaled being dazed or knocked out. And although she was still conscious, Lea sure didn't feel like it. Her mind rotated around in her skull like a rotisserie chicken.

The (eerily familiar) girl that currently pressed Lea up against the tree bark was probably also dazed. Lea couldn't see her face, but the fact her top half was slowly wavering around in a circle combined with her slow slurring of speech gave said more than enough. Glad to know that Lea didn't soften any impacts.

"Ough... what was that...?" Said the girl, being quick to shake herself (and her head) out of her stupor.

Before Lea could say anything, someone else made a coughing noise. She knew it came from the left side of herself, but her view was blocked by the girl's short, dark hair and... red... hood. Oh. She already knew who this was.

Then came a voice Lea recognised very well, it was disparaged and shaky, like a prepubescent boy: "Hey Ruby..."

Well, that supported her theory; The girl that crashed into her was none other than Ruby Rose, and the person she couldn't see was Jaune Arc.

And if she wanted to get a modicum of air, she'd need to actually talk to them. For anyone else, a simple job. Just say 'Hey, excuse me can you get up? I'm currently winded and need to get some air.' and be on with it. However, for Lea –who has to muster up all her strength to make a phone call or make slight demands to her friends (let alone her favourite characters)– this would be one of the hardest things she'd had to have done in a while.

Instead of actually saying anything, however, the first thing Lea actually does is groan, finally letting out her pain in one low, long, quite muffled, sound. It sounded a little like: "Oooooooouuuuuughhhhhhh.... Ow....." And immediately caught Ruby's attention.

With a squeak, she scrambled backwards up the branch before standing up. In that –slightly grating– shrill voice of hers, she profusely apologised. "Ohmigosh!! I'm so sorry!!!" She offered Lea a hand as the dirty-blonde girl slowly re-oriented herself. She took it, pulling herself up. Ruby finally introduced herself.

"I'm Ruby." It was the sort of softer tone she used, where each word ended on a lower note. Also, her voice was considerably less squeaky, to which Lea was thankful.

"Lea." She turned to look at Jaune, who hung upside-down. He let out a silent 'hi' and held up a hand. "Issat' your friend?"

A sudden crash in a northern-ish direction caught the attention of Ruby and Jaune. Lea, however, already knew what was happening – having realised very quickly which point in RWBY she was in, and didn't need to pay it notice (if she remembered correctly, Nora was riding in on an Ursa). Instead, she was moreso focused on finding her sword, having realised that she had lost it during the mid-air collide with Ruby (and probably Jaune).

...Her search was not looking good; scanning the surrounding area only resulted in a horizon of moss-green leaves. The overwhelmingly likely reality was that it had landed beneath the treetops. Lea scratched the top of her head in thought, but was quickly

"What'cha you looking for?" Lea jumped and quickly jolted her head in the direction of the voice (doing that arm-spinny thing cartoons do when they lose their balance). It was Ruby.
