"I was out for how long?!" Lea leaned forward in the bed, arms splayed out wide and clutching the duvet; making her look a bit like a crouching spider (as much as she hated that imagery. Eugh.)

Directly opposite her was Professor Ozpin; who was sitting in a mahogany chair with his right leg laying over the top of his left, keeping his cane in front of him by placing both palms on the top of its round handle. He was also leaning forward... but much less so than Lea.

"Well, today is August 31st, so about... 12 days."

"Straight?"

He chuckled lightly, "Straight. You've really been putting our medical facilities to good use." Ozpin glanced over to Lea's bedside table, noticing the card, then back to Lea herself."Glad to know you've had someone visit you?"

Lea averted her eyes to the 'Get well soon!' card from Ruby. "Yeah... I guess I am..." She said in a subdued, thoughtful voice.

Ozpin looked back to Lea. Lea looked back to Ozpin. He smiled.

"Including me." He stated.

"Including you, yeah." Lea clarified to no-one in particular.

Ozpin finally sat in the chair with less zest, now with both feet planted firmly on the floor and his back straightened.

"I suppose you're wondering why I'm here to visit in the first place?"

Lea tilted her head slightly like a dog. "To ask me some questions, right?"

Ozpin nodded. "Quite right. First of all... Who are you, Miss Lea?"

Uh oh. She should've seen this coming.

She just... appeared mysteriously in the middle of the emerald forest. That's incredibly suspicious! Of course, the headmaster (who'd been shown to have had cameras all over the forest) would've noticed her! She was a tresspasser!!

Lea needed to think of a cover story. Stat.

Obviously, telling someone you're from another world isn't going to work, especially if you tell them they're in an internet cartoon...

Lea gulped.

It's okay, Lea. If he asks where she was from, she'd just say some place she'd have been likely to have come from. Ozpin would probably know if she was from Vale, so... literally anywhere else.

Let's see... she's a human (obviously), so that rules out Menagerie... her clothes are too heavy for her to be from Vacuo... they don't fit in with the style of Mistral either, so... Atlas?

She groaned mentally. Begrugingly, Lea would have to say she was a student from Atlas.

"Miss Lea? Are you okay?" Ozpin was at her bedside now, on her left, resting a hand on her shoulder.

Crud. She had spaced out for too long.

"Ai- I'm fine!" Lea sputtered. She wasn't shouting; it was more so a flustered laugh, like that of a guilty child being caught with their hand in the cookie jar. "Don't worry. Just a bit... out of sorts, methinks."

Ozpin retracted his hand but remained standing. He mused a small hum before giving an actual response, "I'll ask something less... open-ended, then."

/// Paused. ///

Ozpin looked to Lea's sword, which hung on the wall via two pricarious hooks that gripped onto its crossguard for dear life. "That sword of yours... what is it called?"
