The New Age

Chapter 4

Aleister knew Amba was hiding Nina. She only trusted one person and he already killed her so she must be hiding her. It was just a matter of time until he finds her.

Aleister left some of his followers to look around at what remained of the villiage. They might find something that will led him to Nina.

Aleister's followers threw Amba into a cell.

"Please make yourself comfortable." Aleister says, walking into the room. Amba picks herself up off the floor and limps to the bed.

"You'll never find her." Amba says.

"Now, now, let's not be so negative." Aleister says. He moves a peice of hair out of Amba's face.

"I will find her, and when I do I will use her powers to make the world bow at my feet."

With that he got up and left.

200 years later.

Aleister slams the door to Amba's cell open.

She smirks at him and says,"what? Did the raid not go well?"

Aleister grabs Amba by the hair and slams her head into the wall.

"Where is she!" He screams.

For the past 200years Aleister has been looking for her. He searched other tribes and cuvants. He tore them apart, killed everyone for information about where she might be, but none of them knew anything. He searched every spell, but came up with nothing. Aleister was beyond furious.

"I should kill you now."

"Go ahead. I'm not stopping you."

As much as he wanted to kill Amba he couldn't. He needed her to find Nina. As soon as he found her he would kill Amba though.

He slams her against the wall one last time before letting her go and walking out of her cell. He walks into his library and slams his fist onto the desk.

"I take it you couldn't get anything out of her." Sasha, Aleister right hand man, says.

"No." Aleister spits out.

"I've been thinking." She says, while walking towards him. "She might have put her under a spell."

"I already thought about that. There are no spells that can put her under for this long."

"Correction, there are no white magic spells." She says, dropping a book on the desk.

The spell was a curse more than anything. Would Amba use a curse as a way to protect her daughter?

"I never thought she would use dark magic." Aleister says while looking at the book.

"The only question is who did she use for the second part of the spell."

The spell requires two people. The person that is going to be hiding and the person the spell is bound to. As long as the second person is still alive the person stays hidden, as soon as the person dies the other one is let free.

It was no mystery to Aleister. He knew there was only one person Amba could have put the second part of the spell on, the only person that was guaranteed to live.

"Herself."

"Is that even possible?" Sasha asks.

"Oh its very possible. That bitch has been playing us."

How could he be such a fool. She played him, she's been playing him the entire time. It entraged him even more. He couldn't wait the kill Amba, to see the life drain from her eyes.

Aleister slams the book on the table and walk out of the library. He walks straight into Amba's cell and grabs her by her troat.

"You think you can out smart me? I know the spell you put on her."

Amba's eyes widen. She knew he was going to figure it out at some point, it just scared her to know that that time was now. She was going to die and Nina was going to wake up and she wasn't going to be there when she did.

Amba didn't regret it though. Nina wouldn't wake up a child, she would wake up a women with powers. She would be able to tell right from wrong and not be so easily fooled. As long as she wasn't a child anymore she could protect herself.

Nina would be safe. She will be. She's going to be.

Thoughs were the last thoughts Amba had before the life drain from her.

The ground shook as the case Nina was in started to rise from the ground. Miss filled the room and the walls whispered the spell, it finally being broken.

Nina gets up and looks around. Her eyes widen when she realizes where she is. She's never been in the elders hut before, she must have done something bad to be sent in here. But where were the elders? The place was destroyed and it looked like no one was here.

She walks out of the hut and sees everything. Everything burnt down to a crisp. Nina didn't understand. What happened? Where's Amba and Alpa and Ajay? Where is everyone? All these questions swirled in Nina's head. Everything was confusing her. She felt like she couldn't breathe and everything started to come out of focus. She tried to walk but ended up stumbling. She tried to catch her balance. When she finally regained it, she turned around and gasped at what she saw.
