"Wake up Tia... Larentia, Now!", an annoyed voice shouted.
It was my poor excuse of a father. He always expects me to be the perfect daughter. Well, what if I don't want to be. I've told him this many times but he always replies with the same old thing, "You're my daughter I decide what you get to be."
He slammed the door behind him.
"Someone stuck his tampon up to far this morning", I mumbled under my breath.
I stumbled out of bed like a zombie. In just a few minutes I already had on my skinny jeans, red converses, and my most prized possession (my basketball varsity jacket).
As I tied my last knot on my shoe, I was already running down the stairs.
I was starving.
I saw my mom in the kitchen cooking and my dad who was already holding a plate with four pieces of bacon, three fried eggs, and two pieces of toast, my favorite. As I reached for it eagerly, he pulled it away and bellowed, "What are you wearing!?"
"Ummm...Clothes. Would you rather me take them off?", I said smugly, through clenched teeth.
"No...I would just rather you wear something appropriate for our meeting with Alpha Maccon, His Luna, and the future Alpha. Then at least I can say I have a daughter.", he replied.
Just then, Caleb came through the door and took my plate out of our dad's hands.
"You let him have food?", I growled.
"Yes I do because I can actually call him my child", he snickered.
I felt my wolf surfacing...I could feel my eyes turning yellow. My claws were sharpening. All at once I lunged at him.
Right before I could claw his smug face, I was caught in mid air. Before I realized it was Caleb, he had already spun me around and pinned me to the floor. I could feel myself calming down as my brother pushed down on my pressure point in my lower neck.
"See what I mean? I'm actually proud of him.", my dad had to rudely add.
I pushed Caleb off of me and marched up the stairs to change. There was no point in arguing anymore.

I woke up with someone shaking me. I opened my eyes groggily and saw Caleb kneeling down next to me.
"You better wake up before dad sees.", he told me.
"Get out!", I shouted.
He was right though, I needed to get ready fast. After getting dressed I headed to my dad's office.

"Shut up, Tia...", my dad complained to me while I was humming.
We were supposedly waiting for Alpha Maccon, his Luna, and his son.
Suddenly, I smelled an unfamiliar scent.
Dad grunted and turned to me.
"They are here...so Tia...please be nice.", he said lazily.
"Fine...", I murmured.
He left the room with a gust of wind hitting me.
"That went well.", my older brother said from across the room.
He knew dad and I didn't have a good relationship.
"It was okay...", I said.
"Okay?..", he laughed," This morning you nearly clawed his face off when he just wanted you to change clothes."
I held back a laugh from the memory of my father's once in a lifetime, terrified face.
"Well...at least you dressed nice for the meeting.", he said surprised.
I looked down at my outfit. He was right. I was wearing my favorite red homecoming dress with an empire sparkle design because all of my other clothes are sporty or as my dad would say it, "Not suitable for being Alpha Ingolf Clearwater's daughter."
I went all out on this meeting... Straightened hair, wearing my ninth-grade homecoming dress(Yes. It still fits. I haven't grown much.), A lot of make up, and wearing my sexy black peep toes.
I heard the front door downstairs slam shut and a possible conversation. Multiple steps were coming up the stairs.
Suddenly, a pine and woodsy scent hit me.
"Mate!! Mate!!", my werewolf screamed inside of me. Someone important was definitely here.
The door opened and revealed a man my dad's age and a beautiful woman. I looked over and my eyes were entranced in the beauty of eyes clearer than the sky. My breath hitched in my throat, I couldn't breathe.
"Mate...", he whispered.
