Benny and Rory were arguing about something around Ethan. Why do they have to argue about boy stuff? I was with Erica and Sarah, talking about a date she had with Kurt Lochner. My parents are doing okay and they can't wait for my siblings to be born.
"He's a huge, awesome robot. All he'd have to do is yank on the warp engine nacelles." said Rory.
"Okay, that's like saying a dude could fight a boat!" said Benny.
"Guys, just... Can't we do this in a girl-free zone?" said Ethan, walking past us while giving me a wink.
"So, how was your date last night?" said Sarah, asking her.
"Ah! Amazing. Kurt is so McYummy." said Erica, happily. "We went out for dinner, and then we went to see Super Dead IV. It was... perfect."
"Do you mean regular date perfect, or vampire date perfect?" I said, asking her.
"You know I don't bite and tell." She bares her fangs and walks away. Sarah and I shared a look.
Benny and Rory were still arguing about the robot thing.
"He's a robot in disguise! He'd just show up as a harmless truck." said Rory.
"In space?!" said Benny.
Mr. G takes the trophy out of the trophy case.
"Hey, Coach."
"What do you do, Coach?" said Rory, greeting him.
"Say goodbye, boys. Time to put this old relic into storage." said Mr. G, sadly.
"But isn't that, like, the only trophy this school has ever won?" said Ethan, asking him.
"Yes, but it, uh, it sends the wrong message, you know? Winning isn't everything."
Rory and Ethan shared a look.
"Yeah, sure, our teams come last in points, but, oh, boy, we come first in so many other important areas."
"Yeah, like... point... avoiding?" said Benny.
Ethan laughs alongside Rory.
"That is one sad trophy case," said Rory.
"Here, can you hold that for a second?" said Mr. G, giving the trophy to him.
