Ethan was in his room, having a conversation with Benny. Dad was testing my reflexes, so I had to dodge some obstacles. Mom was doing some aerobic exercises in the living room. The nursery for the twins was completed and Mom could give birth to them sometime next year. Sarah went out of town with her aunt.
"I'm not gonna do it, Benny." said Ethan.
"Come on. I'm trying to help." said Benny.
"I don't need help. Look, I have my lucky socks, a clean shirt, and a fresh bottle of cologne."
"Dude, you have absolutely no game."
"Tsk. And you do?"
"No, but my dad is currently on the dating scene... which means that I have unrestricted access to this: Be A Man Magazine."
"Fine." Ethan sits back down.
"Now, I'll pretend to be Tiffany."
"This is stupid."
"Just do it."
"Okay. Hey, Taffy. What's up?"
"Oh, hey, E Bear. I'm just hanging out, you know, shopping and stuff."
"I was just wondering if maybe you'd like to go see... the new Galaxatack movie with me on Saturday."
"You and me? Like on a date? No."
"Hey, I thought you were supposed to be helping me."
"I am. What if she says no? What, are you just gonna give up?"
"Mm. Yeah, probably."
"Wrong answer. Close the deal. Convince me. Make me feel like I'm the only girl in the world. Be a man. Be my man."
"Oh. I'd really like to go on a date with you. You and I have this connection that's really special. I feel like there's some cosmic reason we were thrown together."
Mr. Morgan peeks into the room, listening to the conversation.
"That's beautiful, Ethan." said Benny, pretending to be me.
"Plus, you are, like, really pretty." said Ethan.
Mr. Morgan drops the laundry basket, which opens the door.
"Oh!" Ethan jumps out of his seat.
"Ha. Uh... I have hockey tickets tonight." said Mr. Morgan. "I thought maybe you and Benny would wanna come along. So I'll just leave them here."
