Anya struggled to contain her excitement as Yor lay on a cot while the doctor moved over her stomach, performing a sonogram. Her parents shared the same warm smile while holding hands, but Yuri was less pleased.

"What do you think you're doing to sis!?" he bellowed.

Anya glanced over at her uncle, who sat in the corner, tied up with rope and sporting a golf ball sized bump on his head. Anya walked over and patted his shoulder. "Unkie can't freak out like that again."

Yuri opened his mouth, but an ice-cold stare from Loid silenced him. Watching her father tie up Yuri and hit him in the head after he threatened to throw the doctor in a gulag proved less funny than Anya thought it might be.

"There you are, Mr. and Mrs. Forger, your baby is coming along just fine," the doctor pointed to a black screen.

"There they are!" Yor beamed and pulled Loid into a hug.

Anya blinked. She could not see anything but some white lines amid darkness. Anya can't see her baby brother.

That tickles! The soft voice giggled from inside Yor's belly after the sonogram passed over him again.

Anya smiled and squared her shoulders again with a proud smile. Anya can hear her baby brother though.

"Alright, Mrs. Forger, this is your first pregnancy, yes?"

"That's right," Yor said.

"This is all Loid's fault!" Yuri sobbed before Anya grabbed some rubber gloves and shoved them in his mouth. She shot him a sharp look much like Loid's and held a finger to her lips.

"Unkie must be quiet, Anya needs to know how to be a good big sister."

Loid's face contorted as he tired to contain his laughter. Even Yor chuckled.

"Well, I can see this baby will be very loved," the doctor said and patted Anya on the head. "Now, somethings to expect over the course of your pregnancy. First you may find yourself less able to control your emotions."

"Huh?" Yor muttered.

"Relax, that's just natural. Your hormones are changing, it's nothing to be worried about."

Anya and Loid gulped. That was easy for him to say.

"You may also get cravings for odd things, food you usually don't enjoy." The doctor listed off several other things while Loid took a deep breath.

He, Agent Twilight had been forced to master so many different skills and occupations during his career as a spy. He even became a father in the case of Anya. However, he had never dealt with caring for a pregnant woman before, let alone one with his child. Still, he would not let Yor down.

That evening, he stayed up late reading a book on caring for one's pregnant wife and taking care of an infant. Loid read the book from cover to cover in five minutes, set it down and then picked up another.

"Loid, come to bed, there will be plenty of time for that," Yor said.

She was already in bed and caressed her stomach, beaming as she did so. Loid, however, shook his head and set down the second book, having finished it, then picked up a third.

"Loid, please," Yor said, her smiling fading.

Loid took a deep breath and nodded. He got into his shorts and came up beside Yor, kissing her cheek, then her stomach. Despite this, an anxious expression marred Yor's otherwise beautiful face.

"Loid, do you think I'll be a good mother?"

"What?" Loid muttered in disbelief. "Your you're already a wonderful mother-"
