"Thattagirl, Callie! Make 'em wanna play soccer!" Mike got to thinking the night before and needed to talk to Howard, but first, he dragged Mike to his granddaughter's basketball game. "If she fouls you you foul her back!" he screamed before sitting back down next to Mike to tell him crazy stories or jokes that weren't half funny. "No Callie, shoot!" when she did, the ball hit the rim and slid off. "Kid's got the family curse," Howard told Mike. "Look, Mike, you gotta take control of your life. Grab the reins before a horse runs you off a cliff." Mike gave him the look people give their grandparents when they tell stories but they aren't actually listening. But as he walked off, it actually got Mike to think a little bit.

"Come over for dinner, Callie would love to see you." Mike choked out a laugh. "Wait, you're gonna get cooking again."

"Hell, yeah." Mike clicked his tongue. "Alright, fine, I'll order pizza."

"Yeah, I can do that." the second Mike took his eyes off Howard he heard him fall to the ground, Captain Howard had been shot right by his car. In a building from afar were Lucius, Armando, and Zway-Lo, one of Armando's good friends. "Cap!" Mike yelled running over to him. "Concentrate," Armando told Lucius, whose hands were shaking. He had been on tons of assassination trips, but he never had to snipe someone, that was his father's job. "Get him, man." Zway-Lo encouraged. Before Lucius could shoot, a medic came to help and kneeled right in front of Mike. "Shoot!" Zway-Lo whispered. "Cállate," Lucius whispered back. "Take a breath," Lucius obliged before shooting, missing the medic, and hitting Mike's foot. "Shit! Get behind the car!" Mike yelled. "Enough," Armando said, making Lucius drop the gun. "I can get another shot in." Armando shook his head. "No innocents."

"You crazy, man you know that?" Zway-Lo said as Armando walked away. After Captain Conrad Howard's funeral, both Marcus and Mike were enraged. Any thought of retiring went out the window. They were going to kill him.

"Mamá, está muerto. ¿Es tiempo?" Armando asked on the phone with Isabel. The tension between them had gotten worse. Not only did she disrespect Luciana for years even after her death, she made his son feel like he should have been the one to die. That is something he couldn't ignore. But at the same time, he still worked for her, and going rogue would threaten his life, his son, the house, the bike, and everything else he got to ensure his freedom. "Sí mátalo," she replied. "Pero antes míralo a los ojos y dile algo de mi parte."

"I ran a suspicious financial report on Booker. All his LLC fronts have the same accountant." Marcus read off the file. "Picante Jenkins, CPA," he said. "Yep. You don't meet too many Picantes." when they pulled up to his house, Marcus made sure they were on the same page. "So we knock and talk, right?" Mike nodded, despite the guns in his trunk that had other thoughts. "Knock and talk." Marcus reminded him as he approached the door. "Yeah knock knock," he said, kicking down the door. Jenkins, who was high on coke inside jumped up and screamed. "What the fuck!"

"What happened to knock and talk!?" Marcus yelled. "You broke my door," Jenkins repeated twice. "Sorry about your door, sir. Some gorilla glue will fix that right up." Mike rolled his eyes. "If you don't get on your knees I will shoot you in the face," he warned, gun still pointed at Jenkins. "No, he's not!"

"Yes, I am!"

"Mike, the man is an accountant, just talk to him." Mike scoffed. "You want me to talk to this coked-up trailer park asshole!?"

"Yes! Watch I'll penetrate his soul with my heart." Apparently, Marcus' idea of talking to Jenkins was getting punched in the face twice and flying across the room. Before Mike could step in, Jenkins was tased, when he fell, Mike saw Kelly, Dorn, Rafe, and of course, Rita. What were cubs without their lioness?
